Pick of the Day: Kenice Mobley Records an Album (in NYC) 4/29

January 24, 2022
News
album recording, brooklyn, kenice mobley, nyc comedy, stand up comedy, union hall

In 2021, Kenice Mobley made our 100 Best list and, for 2022, you really ought to not miss whenever she’s going up. That’s actually been true for a long time as Mobley’s deftly crafted comedy has superbly making the rounds in NYC for years now.

If you’re in NYC, you absolutely shouldn’t miss Kenice’s live stand-up album recording. She’ll be doing two tapings on Fri. Apr. 29th, which means it’s probably going to happen and not get canceled or postponed and you’ll have enough to figure out how to get tickets and get to Brooklyn to catch the taping in person.

Tickets are only $10 right now for either the early 7:30PM ET show or the late 10PM ET show and Rohan Padhye and Xazmin Garza will be opening. Go get your tickets before the very likely sell out here.

Pick of the Day: Drunk Black History (in NYC) 2/25

January 17, 2022
News
andre perry, bell house, black history month, brandon collins, brooklyn, errin haines, felix rodriguez, gordon baker bone, nyc comedy

As today is Martin Luther King Jr. Day, one ought to be reflecting on the past and where we’ve gotten to in the present moment as well as celebrating the legacy of Martin Luther King Jr.

So, with that in mind, we’d like to highlight the amazing live historical comedy show, Drunk Black History, that’s on Feb. 25th. Brandon Collins and Gordon Baker-Bone preside over the a line-up of marvelous NYC folks attempting to tell the story of renowned Black heroes in history while undeniably three sheets to the wind.

This particular edition of Drunk Black History will feature Felix Rodriguez, Andre Perry, and Errin Haines and convene at Brooklyn’s Bell House at 9PM ET (Doors 8:30PM ET) on Fri. Feb. 25th. Tickets are $20 right now and there will also be live-stream access available for $10. Go get your tickets now!

Pick of the Day: 15th Annual 50 First Jokes *RESCHEDULED* (in NYC) 2/18

January 11, 2022
News
2022, 50 first jokes, alison leiby, anthony devito, brooklyn, chanel ali, Charlie Bardey, Devon Walker, dina hashem, emmy blotnick, George Civeris, john f o'donnell, kate willett, kenice mobley, martin urbano, Max Wittert, nyc comedy, petey deabreu, rojo perez, sam taggart, shalewa sharpe, Sonia Denis, stand up comedy, tom thakkar

Well, we had already highlighted NYC’s 50 First Jokes for 2022 as a #pickoftheday already, but that was when it was set for this month right as the year had started. Well, The Bell House had scheduled it before it knew how Omicron would overtake the world and spark a whole new series of outbreaks that would force the good majority of live comedy to go dark for most of December 2021 and January 2022.

Unlike some other shows that were slated for Jan. 2022 and opted to cancel altogether, 50 First Jokes is still happening, but will be doing so for the first time in its storied history in February, specifically on Fri. Feb. 18th at 8PM ET at The Bell House. That will very likely mean that everyone’s “first” joke(s) of 2022 will be much sharper than if they had only gotten a week to work on it (even though it’s a perennial good time).

Thankfully, the host is still John F. O’Donnell and the line-up is still stacked with NYC Comedy’s best and brightest including: Alison Leiby, Anthony Devito, Chanel Ali, Charlie Bardey, Devon Walker, Dina Hashem, Emmy Blotnick, George Civeris, Kate Willett, Kenice Mobley, Martin Urbano, Max Wittert, Petey DeAbreu, Rojo Perez, Sam Taggart, Shalewa Sharpe, Sonia Denis, and Tom Thakkar. More TBA!

Tickets are still available at $15 and hopefully, Omicron will have subsided enough so that we won’t have to write about this being rescheduled again. Oh yeah, it should go without saying at this point in the pandemic that proof of vaccination is required for entry.

Go snag tickets here.

Pick of the Day: Jes Tom: Less Lonely (in NYC) 2/12

January 10, 2022
News
jes tom, nyc comedy, stand up comedy, union hall

We put Jes on our 100 Best Things in Comedy of 2021 We Were Witness To in No Particular Order and, thusly, you shouldn’t miss out on any chance to see them. Their current hour is a pristine work of stand-up that’s so timely coming from Jes as one of the funniest people around who happens to be non-binary, yet so universal in its finding connection and love at this time and place that very much feel like the end of all things.

Jes’ hour Less Lonely is playing at Brooklyn’s Union Hall right before Valentine’s Day on Sat. Feb. 12th at 7:30PM ET at Union Hall. Please go get your tickets now and we can hope that Omicron will have died way down by then.

Pick of the Day: Justin Elizabeth Sayre: Assorted Fruit (in NYC) 2/20

January 5, 2022
News
joe's pub, justin sayre, nyc comedy, queer comedy, variety show

While The Grammys just got shuddered again by COVID-19, it’s very likely that you’ll still be able to enjoy the whimsically refined comedic stylings of Justin Elizabeth Sayre. They’ve been one of our favorite folks to weave something equally bewitching and hilarious ever since we chanced upon catching them at UnCabaret years ago.

So, they’ll be at the helm of NYC”s latest queer variety show called Assorted Fruit! that we trust that Justin will curate with masterful taste. It’ll live at the beloved Joe’s Pub @ Public Theater in NYC and start off on Sun. Feb. 20th at 9:30PM ET with the queer splendor of Charlene Incarnate, Jon-Michael Reese, and more.

Tickets are $25 and you really ought to go get them here. Please note that proof of vaccination against COVID-19 or negative COVID-19 test no older than 72 hours are required.

Pick of the Day: Everything is Terrible! (in LA & NYC) 2/3 & 2/26

December 31, 2021
News
bell house, brooklyn, everything is terrible, experimental comedy, nyc comedy, performance art, video art

The last two years have been some of the worst on record for everyone alive right now (if they are not actually, in fact, the very worst). The hours are ticking away in America to greet 2022 and the normal sort of routine fanfare that comes with New Year’s Eve is, at this point, unsurprisingly not at the fever pitch that it has been in, perhaps, 2014.

With that in mind, perhaps the thing to look forward to is video and performance art collective Everything Is Terrible! going on tour with slicing, dicing, and mashing up all the weirdest bits of DVD and VHS ephemera they could possible find into a hilarious, mind-bending, absurdist dream scape. This specific outing by EIT, The Kidz Klub Tour, will be grinding up the best of media from decades past that was engineered for kids, but has not aged all that well.

Also, above everything else, isn’t it fitting to look forward to something called Everything Is Terrible (though rest assured the show will be an amazing trip fantastic through the overlooked nostalgia of our youth and not literally terrible). EIT will be stopping through both LA and NYC this February (so, it’ll likely still happen).

Everything Is Terrible’s The Kidz Klub Tour will hit the Lodge Room in LA on Thurs. Feb. 3rd at 8PM PT with tickets for $22 and the Bell House on Sat. Feb. 26th at 7:30PM ET & 10:30PM ET with tickets for $20 a pop. Go get them now while everything still feels terrible and make yourself, consequently, feel a little less terrible.

Pick of the Day: Dylan Adler: Hit That Track (in NYC) 2/18

December 30, 2021
News
caveat, Dylan Adler, musical comedy, nyc, nyc comedy, stand up comedy

We might have told you before (and we will definitely tell you again in our best 100 year end list) that Dylan Adler is one of the funniest people that we got to see for the very first time in 2021. His vulnerable, personal, dark, physical (and often musical) comedy had us doubled over when we first saw it on a rooftop in DTLA earlier this year and it’s imperative to us that you go catch Dylan wherever he’s playing. Thankfully, for New Yorkers, that’s all over town all the time (and perhaps in LA in January).

Adler is actually doing his very own full length show that is a treat that no one in around the NYC’s LES should miss. Hit That Track will have Dylan headline Caveat on Feb. 18th at 7PM ET (so, hopefully that’s far enough from the reaches of this recent COVID-19 surge) and tickets are only $15.

Go get them right here right now and enjoy looking forward to something in mid February rather than worry about Valentine’s Day.

Pick of the Day: Stamptown (in NYC) 1/27 & 1/29

December 28, 2021
News
asylum nyc, brooklyn, jack tucker, nyc comedy, stamptown, union hall, zach zucker

We’re not quite back at March 2020 in terms of live comedy being completely shut down, but there is a dreadful similarity to this week and the last couple, no?

To remedy that, let’s look further into the future for things that we were so glad that are back when lockdown lifted and will be thrilled to see once more (hopefully) in a few more weeks. Those include such things as one of comedy’s wildest shows, Stamptown. One of the only internationally traveling comedy showcases that rounds up clowns, sketch folks, stand-ups, musical comedians, and more genre defying comedic performers to do some of the wildest things anyone has seen on stage.

Currently, host/ringleader Zach Zucker/Jack Tucker is in the UK, but will be returning to NYC for two shows in January. Specifically, Stamptown will be at Union Hall on Thurs. Jan. 27th at 7:30PM ET & The Asylum NYC on Sat. Jan. 29th at 9:30PM ET. The line-ups aren’t announced yet, but you can rest assured that it will be jam packed with comedians you need to see as it has been for years.

Tickets are $20 a pop ($15 for Union Hall right now) and you can and should get them here and here respectively.

Pick of the Day: One Star New York (in NYC) 1/3

December 17, 2021
News
caveat, emily winter, lindsay boling, martin urbano, new york moments, nyc, nyc comedy, ophira eisenberg, storytelling

Welp, left, right, and center, comedy shows right now in NYC are getting postponed and cancelled because of the Omicron surge of COVID-19. So, we’ll just have to look past the holidays for something that is, as of this moment, still on the books and will still be a damn good time.

With that in mind, we’d like to highlight Back Fat Variety’s One Star New York, a show that celebrates the worst of NYC as told by some of its best funny people. We’ve always thought of NYC as a place that requires Stockholm Syndrome to live there and it looks like this show revels in that notion.

Expressing their love for the Big Apple through their worst recollections of it will be the lovely collection of Ophira Eisenberg, Martin Urbano, Linsday Boling, and host Emily Winter. One Star New York will be taking place at Caveat where vaccination and masks are thankfully required on Mon Jan. 3rd at 7PM ET. Tickets are $15 right now and you ought to get them here.

Pick of the Day: Hari Kondabolu-New Material Night (in NYC) 1/2

December 9, 2021
News
hari kondabolu, nyc comedy, stand up comedy

The march of comedians returning to the stage from their pandemic sabbatical continues and we’re thankful that more and more of our favorite voices in comedy are taking the mic once again and offering their perspective and blessed levity for what is likely the most insane times of most of our lives.

One such person that we can’t wait to hear and see do comedy again, especially in relation to 2020-2021 is Hari Kondabolu. Hari might be one of the most intelligent voices in comedy, especially when it comes to the big, current issues of our day. His writing is so impeccably funny and shows how well crafted a joke can be, even if its tackling very dense, nuanced complicated subject matter.

So, don’t miss out on Hari doing all brand new jokes at Union Hall at the top of 2022, Sun. Jan 2nd at 5:30PM ET and/or 8PM ET to be exact. Tickets are only $7 and we’re pretty sure they’ll sell out sooner rather than later. Go get them here.

The Comedy Bureau Field Report Ep. 86: Catherine McCafferty & First 8 Days Living in NYC

November 17, 2021
News, The Comedy Bureau Field Report
catherine mccafferty, jfl, lethal weapon, nft, nyc comedy, party down

Catherine McCafferty is on the way to achieving the dream of many comedians, being bi-coastal. McCafferty had been based out of LA for years doing stand-up, acting, and more, but has now just freshly broke ground in NYC. It was 8 days in for her on the day she recorded this episode of TCB Field Report with Jake Kroeger and it’s a great portrait of expectations meeting reality and the whirlwind that transplanting from one metropolis to another can be.

Also, “hot” and actually hot takes on Party Down revival, JFL NFTs, and an upcoming Lethal Weapon sequel with Mel Gibson attached to direct.

The Comedy Bureau Field Report Ep. 81: Caitlin Cook & New New York Comedy

October 13, 2021
News, The Comedy Bureau Field Report
aj holmes, caitlin cook, dave chappelle, new york comedy festival, nyc comedy, that 90s show, the closer

One of the more wide ranging comedy multi-hyphenates we know, Caitlin Cook, joins us as a musical comedian/writer/director/designer/illustrator to not only give us the lowdown on how in flux the NYC comedy scene is (even though it’s supposedly “back”), but the vast spread of projects she has taken on. That includes directing the fantastic solo show/musical hybrid, A.J. Holmes: Yeah, But Not Right Now, working on her own original music, comedy and otherwise, and gearing up to go back on the road (and a million other things as doing all that you can at all times is a prerequisite in NYC comedy). Also, “hot” takes on Chappelle, The New York Comedy Festival, That 90s Show, and more.

Here’s Our Line-Up for Our 10th & 11th Double Anniversary Show at Union Hall 10/15

October 4, 2021
News
astronomy club, Dylan Adler, hannah pilkes, jake kroeger, josh gondelman, ladies who ranch, nyc comedy

Even though we’ve only officially covered NYC comedy for a couple of months, there is so much about comedy in New York that we truly, deeply champion.

So, with that in mind, we wanted to do a portrait of NYC comedy for this very special Double Anniversary Show of The Comedy Bureau, marking both the 10th and 11th years of TCB (since we didn’t do any celebrating in 2020). Note, there will be a LA anniversary show on 10/25 at the shiny and new comedy venue, The Elysian.

With the help of the marvelous Carly Hoogendyk, we have such a colorful, lovely portrait indeed of NYC comedy (that has NYC stalwarts and brand new transplants) including:

Astronomy Club
Josh Gondelman
Dylan Adler
Hannah Pilkes
Ladies Who Ranch
TCB’s very own Jake Kroeger presiding as host

That’s right, we’re not just doing a stand-up show, we’re trying to highlight all of NYC (just like we’ve done in LA for years). We would love if you came just to see your amazing faces (or part of them, anyway) and marvel how long we’ve been keeping the lights on TCB on.

We absolutely can’t wait to bring all these hysterical folks on to the Union Hall stage on Fri. Oct. 15th at 7:30PM ET. Tickets are $10 right now and $15 at the door (proof of vaccination required, of course). Snag ’em here.

Pick of the Day: North Coast Comedy Festival (in NYC) 10/5-10/10

October 4, 2021
News
astronomy club, borabish, comedy festival, north coast, nyc comedy, will hines

Sure, sure, there’s a big ol’ comedy festival coming to NYC in November that’s named after the city itself. However, that’s not the only comedy festival you should be looking forward to in the city. In fact, there’s a brand spankin’ new comedy festival having its debut this Tuesday 10/5 through Sunday 10/10, The North Coast Comedy Festival (and it won’t just be mostly stand-up).

In fact, it’s put on by NYC’s very own hip hop improv group North Coast and will feature so much of NY’s best sketch and improv (and some great stand-up too) including Astronomy Club, Borabish, The Shuffle, Will Hines, and so much more.

It’s all (and that’s 18 shows total) going down at Asylum NYC in Chelsea. You can get a festival pass for access to all the shows for $180 or get tickets to three of your choice for $49. Go get those passes and more details (including line-up and schedule) here.

Pick of the Day: The Comedy Bureau Double Anniversary: NYC 10/15

September 27, 2021
News
brooklyn, nyc comedy, union hall

As The Comedy Bureau recently expanded to covering NYC’s vast and vibrant comedy scene (Jake Kroeger’s infamously hates sleep if you wondering how he covers both LA & NYC), this particular show will be a grand portrait of NYC’s very best across the five boroughs: including theaters, comedy clubs, rooftops, bodegas, stand-up, improv, sketch, and everything in between.

Join us as one of comedy’s best institutions, The Comedy Bureau, throws a bi-coastal celebration of both its 10th and 11th anniversaries (after all, you simply can’t celebrate 10 years of service to live comedy on Zoom). The line-up will be revealed soon enough (TCB’s Jake Kroeger will be hosting–also shout out to top notch producer Carly Hoogendyk), but, for now, you can mark your calendars for Fri. Oct. 15th at 7:30PM ET (Doors 7PM ET) at NYC’s beloved Union Hall.

Tickets are $10 right now and $15 at door (and are mandatory to get if you’re reading this). Proof of vaccination required of course.

Pick of the Day: Jeoparty! (in NYC) 10/13

September 22, 2021
News
jeopardy, josh gondelman, littlefield, michael kosta, nyc comedy, ophira eisenberg, shalewa sharpe

At this point in time, it doesn’t seem like they’re going to have Will Ferrell reprise his rendition of the late, great Alex Trebek to fill in for the vacant slot to host Jeopardy! (seems like Mayim Bialik wants to be the permanent replacement?). So, that means that a whole row of comedians won’t be the contestants on our personal dream version of the show.

There’s still hope, however, as Brooklyn’s littlefield is doing their very own all-comedians spin on the trivia game show institution called Jeoparty! with Ophira Eisenberg next month. It’ll be even more ridiculous than SNL’s Celebrity Jeopardy if you can imagine. For this go around of Jeoparty!, NYC comedy’s best and brightest in Josh Gondelman, Shalewa Sharpe, and Michael Kosta will be joining in.

Jeoparty! is set for Wed. Oct. 13th at 8PM ET. For $10, here: Where can you get tickets?

Pick of the Day: The 2nd Annual Empire State Spelling, B (in NYC) 9/23

September 20, 2021
News
comedy show, nyc comedy, petey deabreu, spelling bee, zilla vodnas

Spelling bees and comedy don’t cross paths enough, to be honest. Whenever they do, it’s usually a damn good time (and often involves the performers being inebriated somehow).

With that in mind, we want to give you a heads up on The 2nd Annual Empire State Spelling, B, hosted by the amazing hosting duo of Peter DeAbreu and Zilla Vodnas, this Thursday, Sept. 23rd. Petey and Zilla are doing a NYC-specific spelling bee that will really test how well NYC comedy’s best know a) how to spell & b) how well they know the five boroughs.

Here’s a fun little promo they made just for this show.

The 2nd Annual Empire State Spelling, B is set for 10PM ET this Thurs. Sept. 23rd at Brooklyn’s Union Hall (21+, proof of vaccination required). Tickets are $10 right now and $12 on the day of. Best go get them tickets right now.

Pick of the Day: Looking Forward to It (in NYC) 9/21

September 17, 2021
News
dan fox, david cross, Dylan Adler, josh gondelman, nyc comedy, phoebe robinson, Tina Friml, vote forward
Whether or not you’ve paid attention to the news recently, it’s pretty clear that voting engagement is as crucially important as it has ever been; probably more so. Thankfully, the comedy show that supports that very thing, Looking Forward to It, is coming to its latest edition next week in support of Vote Forward. In fact, all proceeds will go to them.
Of course, one of NYC comedy’s treasures, Josh Gondelman, will be hosting and they’ll have yet another massive line-up (of David Cross, Phoebe Robinson, Dylan Adler, Tina Friml, and Dan Fox) that you shouldn’t need to encourage you to go and support getting more people out to vote, but is there just in case you need that extra push.
This latest Looking Forward to It is set for Tues. Sept. 21st at 8PM ET at Littlefield in Brooklyn. Tickets are $15-$50 right now. Go get them here! Proof of vaccination will be required at the door.

Pick of the Day: Cagematch 2121 (in NYC) starting 9/16

September 14, 2021
News
improv comedy, long form improv, nyc comedy

One of our favorite and, coincidentally, one of the best ways to watch long form improvisational comedy was through a late weeknight showcase known as “Cagematch”. Multiple teams would be pitted against each other to serve up the best performances they could to emerge victorious and, hopefully, remain on a winning streak as long as possible. We’ve been lucky enough to see runs go for well over a year when UCB used to have their improv Cagematches going in LA and it was some of the funniest things we’ve ever seen performed on a comedy stage of any kind.

With more and more comedy things reopening, we’re indeed going to get an improv cagematch back in, of all places, UCB’s old Chelsea venue in NYC, which is now under a different banner, Asylum NYC. The best of NYC improv will go head to head at Cagematch 2121 at Asylum NYC every other week starting on Sept. 16th (feat. Higgins vesus Shrecc). Ironically enough, many Cagematches fictionalized some sort of post-apocalyptic world in which these showdowns would take place and, for what it’s worth, it’s a little more close to reality now.

That’s all the more reason to go get your tickets for Cagematch 2121 now.

Pick of the Day: Daniel Sloss: Hubris (in NYC & LA) 10/15 & 11/10

August 24, 2021
News
beacon theater, comedy show, daniel sloss, kai humphries, la comedy, nyc comedy, orpheum, stand up comedy

Though it has been a bit of time since Jigsaw, the mark of Daniel Sloss‘ special is still indelible. When it comes to stand-up comedy dealing with relationships, perhaps the most well-trodden territory in comedy, Sloss special was not only enjoyed by millions, but inspired many of those folks to take more stock in themselves, their lives, and what they want out of a relationship.

Naturally, we can’t wait to see what Sloss has to serve up next, especially with everything the world has been through and continues to go through at every waking moment of this time. Luckily, he is set on his Hubris tour that is currently working its way through the world and has dates scheduled through spring 2022.

For New Yorkers and Angelenos, Sloss will be coming in with this highly anticipated tour on Fri. Oct. 15th at NYC’s Beacon Theatre and on Wed. Nov. 10th at LA’s Orpheum Theatre. Tickets start at $49 and proof of vaccination will be required. Best go get your tickets now here.

Pick of the Day: Todd Barry 34th Anniversary in Comedy Benefit (in NYC) 11/1

August 5, 2021
News
brittany carney, charity benefit, colin quinn, comedy show, dina hashem, gary gulman, leukemia research foundation, marina franklin, michael j fox foundation, nyc comedy, stand up comedy, todd barry

Seeing Todd Barry live is always a good thing. Seeing Todd celebrate his 34th year in comedy would be even better than a good thing. Having the likes of Colin Quinn, Brittany Carney, Marina Franklin, Dina Hashem, and Gary Gulman join him on a fantastic line-up that offers much of the best of NYC comedy is even more grand.

You can get all of those good and better and grander things and more* with Todd’s 34th Anniversary in Comedy Benefit that will mark almost three and a half decades of finely crafted humor from the one and only Todd Barry.

*more being supporting Leukemia Research Foundation and Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research with your purchase of a ticket.

Todd Barry 34th Anniversary in Comedy Benefit is set for Mon. Nov. 1st at 8PM ET at The Bell House in Brooklyn. Tickets are going for $30 and you really ought to get them here.

Pick of the Day: How to Start a Fire from Sydnee Washington (in NYC) 8/14

July 30, 2021
News
nyc comedy, solo show, Sydnee Washington

Fresh off being named one of the New Faces of Comedy by the Just For Laughs Festival, it’s more imperative than it already was to go watch Sydnee Washington whenever and wherever she plays (you ought to know that Comedy at the Knitting Factory on Sundays is the place to be in Brooklyn). Sydnee’s panache and vulnerability in her comedy together truly demand your attention and why she is a fast rising star right now.

Sydnee has just started in on a solo show, How to Start a Fire, that follows a very specific thread of her childhood that lead to “an infamous fire that could have ruined her family” (as opposed to that one in Manchester By the Sea). The first performance of it sold out almost instantly and, thusly, you should snag tickets to her latest date for How to Start a Fire set for Sat. Aug. 14th at 10PM ET.

Tickets are $15 and you can (and very, very much should) go get them here.

The Comedy Bureau Field Report Ep. 70: Carly Hoogendyk & The New NYC

derek delgaudio, jfl, neal brennan, new faces of comedy, nyc comedy

One of our favorite comedy hyphenates Carly Hoogendyk (comedy producer-talent manager-photographer) joins us for this week’s TCB Field Report to give us the NYC perspective on comedy reopening (we literally ask her to give us the lay of the land when looking out her apartment window) and what’s going on behind the scenes out in the streets of NYC comedy (across several boroughs). FYI, there’s some nice comedy show lineage history here between the ungodly amount of comedy that has been seen between both Carly and TCB’s Jake Kroeger. Also, we go in on with “hot” takes on this year’s JFL New Faces of Comedy and Neal Brennan using the world’s new preeminent magician, Derek Delgaudio, to direct his new special.

Pick of the Day: Hannah Einbinder (in NYC) 11/5

July 22, 2021
News
bell house, brooklyn, hannah einbinder, nyc, nyc comedy, stand up comedy

In LA, pretty much all of Hannah Einbinder‘s headlining dates have sold out. You might get a chance to see her here and there on a plethora of shows here and there, but you won’t get to bare witness to the full breadth of full length set, unless you snagged a ticket for one of her Dynasty Typewriter dates, for awhile (probably in October).

That said, if you’re in NYC, you still have a shot at catching the late show of Hannah Einbinder’s evening at The Bell House on Fri. Nov. 5th. Already, the 7:30PM ET show has sold out, but you can still get tickets for the 10PM ET show at $20 a pop. Please don’t miss your chance to see Hannah live, who will be such a delightful conceptual, yet still very personal comedy surprise for all of you whether you’ve seen her on Hacks or not.

So, go get your tickets already.

Pick of the Day: Last Podcast on the Left’s Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again Tour

July 12, 2021
News
beacon theatre, ben kissel, comedy tour, henry zebrowski, hollywood forever cemetery, la comedy, last podcast on the left, live podcast, marcus parks, nyc comedy

One of the best comedy/true crime/horror/conspiracy theory/alien/overall podcasts around Last Podcast on the Left was set on going on tour in 2020. Do we even need to say what happened at this point?

Well, despite all the postponing and uncertainty attributed to the last several months, Marcus Parks, Ben Kissel, and Henry Zebrowski are back out on the road as we’re on this side of the pandemic to deliver us their perfect blend of all horrors, real and imagined, and gut-busting (figuratively) comedy on their Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again Tour that’s set to start this Summer and go through Spring 2022.

Their LA and NYC dates should be a doozy as the LP on the Left boys are going to play the Hollywood Forever Cemetery on Oct. 3rd and the hallowed Beacon Theatre in NYC on May 20th, 2022. Tickets are starting at $39 and you best go get them real quick as live Last Podcast on the Left live shows always sold out pre-pandemic and will definitely sell out now that they’re back.
