With Reunited, Josh Androsky and Bryan Cook have devised a faux panel discussion series that brings together the cast of a sitcom that never existed. On top of that, the real comedians that were supposedly on said sitcom have no idea what that sitcom was called or what it was about until the show starts.
As you might imagine, the behind-the-scenes of the sitcom wasn’t a happily-ever-after story, which makes for a really “great” reunion.
The latest edition has James Urbaniak, Baron Vaughn, Hampton Yount, and a special guest.
It’s going down at 8:30PM on Friday, April 8th at The Hollywood Improv Comedy Lab and tickets are only $5.

Over the years, we’ve really enjoyed seeing Ahmed Bharoocha working his way up the way the LA comedy scene by being as funny as he could be no matter where he was playing. Comedic structure, delivery, perspective, polish, and more have been firing on all cylinders for quite some time making him a true gem to watch any time we see him at the mic.
Naturally, we’re thrilled to see he’s headlining the Hollywood Improv on Friday, April 8th at 8PM.
Tickets are $15 with a two item minimum. Get them here.

Every year, LA Weekly comes out with it’s “Best Of” issue that lists the best niche, amazing things to do in this wonderful city of Los Angeles. For their 2014 edition, Echoes Under Sunset, Comedy Is Dead, The Champs podcast, The Improv, and The Virgil all get pretty great and deserved shout outs.
Check out the whole list here.
Recently, Jim Jefferies had the luck of dropping into the Hollywood Improv while Paul McCartney was in the audience. Knowing that, Jefferies put forth his A-game and was surprised at the results as he recounts on Conan.
After telling this story, he balanced out the nice twist in that story with a much darker twist on the story of his sole acting gig in a porno that he was not at all having sex in.

1) The “insider comedian interview” format has gone viral… big time. Forget about shoddy camera work in green rooms and back alley studios that double as living spaces. Bigger names are coming out of the woodwork. First Marc Maron w/his “WTF Podcast”. Recently, Dave Holmes and “A Drink with Dave”. Most recently, Bill Maher and “12 Mile”. Did I mention that everyone should be watching/listening to these?
2) Everyone will be live tweeting during the Oscars and I will be here in our cavernous office keeping everyone up to speed as to what’s the funniest things written during the show. We hand pick our featured tweets here and I almost suggest that you don’t need to watch the Oscars because the Comedy Bureau Twitter feed will be almost more entertaining (only because you need to watch the telecast to put it into context).
