In promotion of their book Hollywood Said No!, Bob Odenkirk and David Cross chatted with Jon Stewart on The Daily Show last night as to what exactly Hollywood executives rejected time and time again, but we have a feeling that it’s pretty great anyway.

Amidst chatting with Jimmy Fallon on Late Night, Ricky Gervais mentioned that he is going to actually tour as David Brent as a singer-songwriter. Exactly where and when has yet to be announced officially, but Gervais says that there will definitely be secret shows to come.

Also, there’s an attempt at twerking by Gervais at the end of this clip if you’re into that sort of thing.

Taylor Williamson Makes It to Final 6 of America’s Got Talent

Even though the very funny Taylor Williamson had made it to being a finalist on America’s Got Talent, there’s another grade of finalist in being the last 6 contestants on America’s Got Talent before the show decides the sole winner.

Luckily, Taylor’s made it the final 6 finalists and it can win it all as the first non-ventriloquist comedian to take the top prize at America’s Got Talent (i.e. vote and make sure that happens)

The artwork at Gallery 1988 has pretty consistently found itself at a great intersection of comedy and art. With tributes, mash-ups, parodies on canvas, print, etc., they’ve got the exhibition of art that people laugh at non-ironically down.

When this happens, especially when watching TV and being on the Internet is a single experience (it’s only a matter of technology that’s keeping that from happening), it’ll be interesting to see how this stacks up against the Nielsen ratings.

Most assuredly, viewers will rely on this more than a ratings share to pick what they watch, which, we hope will help critically acclaimed shows like Louie or recent Emmy winners Children’s Hospital.
