Behold the Trailer for The Bob’s Burgers Movie

January 11, 2022
News
bob's burgers, bob's burgers movie, trailer

We don’t want to speak for everyone, but the Belcher family was a big part of making it through the strictest part of quarantine. Binge watching through every single season of Bob’s Burgers from start to finish was a genuine escape when such a thing seemed so rare during these apocalyptic-ish times.

The prospect of a feature length episode of Bob’s Burgers had been in the works for awhile now (although what does awhile even made during these times, right?), but the day for a Bob’s Burgers Movie is finally fast approaching as this just posted trailer reveals. On May 27th, The Bob’s Burgers Movie will hit theaters exclusively across the country and we’ll all be treated to the Belchers in a larger than life form.

We can’t wait to see what Burgers of the Day that Bob “dreamed” up for the movie.

Get a taste of what’s to come with the Bob’s Burger Movie trailer here.

Bob’s Burgers is on the verge of crossing 200 episodes of being one of the most charming, wholesome (but not annoyingly wholesome) families on TV (along with so many great pun-based business names and inspired, tiny songs). On their tenth season, they continue to be a true joy to watch and something pretty calming in these dark, tumultuous times.

Variety is hosting a special, exclusive Q&A with the cast and creators of Bob’s Burgers including Loren Bouchard, Nora Smith, H. Jon Benjamin, John Roberts, Kristen Schaal, Eugene Mirman, Dan Mintz and Larry Murphy to honor crossing the 200th episode mark. Together, they’ll chat about their favorite moments and some insider, behind-the-scenes stories that should be a great joy for all of the Bob’s Burgers loyal.

You’ll be able to join in and watch this live-stream panel discussion at the Variety Streaming Room on Thurs. Nov. 12th at 1PM PT/4PM ET.

Something the size of world famous, annual San Diego Comic-Con obviously isn’t going to happen this year due to the pandemic. However, rather than just outright postponing, Comic-Con is going to try for virtual editions of their renowned panels that reveal insider info and details from creators and talent of movies, TV, comic-books, etc.

They’re calling it Comic-Con@Home and it’ll stream from Jul. 22nd-26th and, best of all, it’ll be free (or maybe not waiting to get into Hall H is better?). This virtual edition of SDCC will include panel discussion from What We Do In the Shadows, Bob’s Burgers, The Simpsons, Solar Opposites, Robot Chicken, Archer, Crossing Swords, Duncanville, Upload, The Boys, Superstore, Adventure Time, Infinity Train, Phineas and Ferb, Bless the Harts, American Dad!, Family Guy, Looney Tunes, and Bill & Ted Face the Music.

(via Deadline)

It would seem that the triumvirate animation block on Fox that includes The Simpsons, Family Guy, and Bob’s Burgers will be intact for a long time to come. Announced today, the Emmy award winning award series will be getting its 11th season.

Well, actually, Loren Bouchard and company have been on work on the 11th season already. That has us curious as to whether they’ll have any episodes dealing with the pandemic and/or perhaps all of this will be over by the time 11th season premieres.

In any case, a much deserved congratulations to Bob’s Burgers.

Bob’s Burgers Season 8 to Have Very First Holiday Special and a Completely Fan Drawn Episode for the Premiere

Announced at Comic Con this past weekend, Loren Bouchard and company have even more fun than usual planned for the latest season of Bob’s Burgers. It’s kind of surprising to think that they haven’t done a holiday special yet, but it’s crazier to think that they’ll kick off season 8 with a crowdsourced episode.

Look for this new Bob’s Burgers to start on Sunday, October 1st on Fox.

Dark Musical Comedy Series Loosely Based on John Roberts’ Life Being Developed by Universal and Amy Poehler’s Paper Kite for HBO

There are so many great ingredients that are at work here. Called Edison, this project seems to lean towards Roberts taking the bubbly musical elements that he gets to play with on Bob’s Burgers and bringing them into a live action world with the sandbox that HBO allows and the latitude that a dark comedy bent brings.

Oh, we should mention that Roberts’ Bob’s Burgers co-star H. Jon Benjamin is co-writing and also executive producing this project too.

Excited for this possibly being HBO’s next comedy yet?

There’s even a really great music video to go along with it.

It’s all been real fun and puns with they burgers in The Bob’s Burgers universe over the years.

However, an intrepid soul Cole Bowden actually made real, edible versions of the burgers on the show with his The Bob’s Burgers Experiment.

That, in turn, was discovered by Bob’s Burgers creator Loren Bouchard who quickly teamed up with Bowden to make an experiment into a real book.

So, now a real cook book for Bob’s Burgers fans/burger aficionados/foodies/cooking enthusiasts/etc. is here in The Bob’s Burgers Burger Book: Real Recipes for Joke Burgers.

We’re going to guess that it’ll will become many people’s favorite cookbook very soon.
