For a few $ pledged a month, you can help make TCB’s budget go beyond the scope of covering just food and gas.

With this full length trailer of The Incredible Jessica James, it’s revealed that there’s a definite romantic comedy thread here with Chris O’Dowd.
On top of that, you’ll see that this film, more and more, looks to be the perfect vehicle for Jessica Williams to go forth post-Daily Show.
See the trailer for yourself here, then look for The Incredible Jessica James to start streaming on Netflix on Friday, July 28th.
Having talked to serial killer profilers, alien documentary directors, people who have been kidnapped, etc. and making into a great comedy talk show/podcast, Dark Matters with hosts Franky Guttman and Michael Bilow is marking its 1st year anniversary with bringing back some of their favorite guests and, of course, plenty of live calls.
The Dark Matters 1st Anniversary Spectacular is set for Saturday, July 22nd 11PM at The Pack Theater and admission is still ‘pay what you can’.

For a few dollars a month on Patreon, you can feed a “starving” Comedy Bureau.
More accurately, we’re workaholics that make little very time for eating, but any $ pledges is greatly appreciated.

Peyton Manning continues to uphold his reputation as one of the most comedically reliable in all of professional sports.
He’s been a surprisingly good host on SNL and, just this past week, offered up a very solid opening monologue for this year’s ESPYS. There are some good burns as well as few slightly meta threads throughout that we’d guess that almost all pro athletes couldn’t get through in the tightly crafted 10 minutes.
See for yourself here.
You knew that Norm Macdonald had his own show where he does whatever strikes his fancy, right?
Well, his eponymous show returns for its 4th season on Tuesday, July 25th via JASH with none other than comedy/showbiz/late night legend David Letterman as one of the guests.
See for yourself in this preview clip here.
Also, you can catch up the previous three seasons of Norm Macdonald Live here.

Slowly but surely, The Big Sick has been rolling out in theaters across America over the last few weeks.
It indeed is one of the best movies of the years, certainly one of the best romantic comedies this side of the 21st century. Also, if you’ve been following the film’s star and co-writer Kumail Nanjiani on Twitter, you’ve seen that the film has been touching to so many different kinds of people in so many wondrous ways.
So, go see it/go see it again in a theater that’s now probably very close to you.
Connor Ratliff’s The George Lucas Talk Show, the clever and popular reworking of the talk show where he plays, you guessed it, George Lucas as a talk show host is returning to LA once again on Sunday, July 23rd at 9PM at UCB Sunset.
With all the recent Han Solo movie drama that has happened recently, you’ll bet Ratliff’s Lucas will have a thing or two to say.
Tickets are $7 and you can (and should) get them here.

You’re The Worst along with Jimmy and Gretchen’s shenanigans (and by “shenanigans”, we mean the impulsive, rash decisions that constantly keep their relationship embattled) are coming back for season 4 at the end of this Summer.
See for yourself in this teaser, which, if you watch closely might hint at where Jimmy and Gretchen are at with themselves and each other.
Season 4 of You’re The Worst premieres Wednesday, September 6th on FXx.
If you’re not already on the Jackie Kashian train yet, please hop on board as soon as you can.
Let this latest set on Conan (she’s got plenty under her belt) be a wonderful intro to her brilliant stand-up.
Today, the nominations for the 2017 Primetime Emmys were announced. For comedy specifically, it’s probably what you expected.
Premium cable and streaming services continue to dominate the Emmys with Netflix and HBO coming out strong. FX also maintains its status as a premium cable network disguised as a basic cable network with its handful of nominations for Atlanta, Better Things, and Baskets.
Colbert’s Election special and Sam Bee’s Not the WHCD thankfully were bestowed nominations here as well.
One thing that was a delightful surprise is Lauren Lapkus and Ben Schwartz gaining nominations for their performances in The Earliest Show, a web series that followed a morning talk show with one of the hosts going through all the stages of grief.
Take a gander at all the comedy nominees below.

If you’re like us and enjoyed the super stylish fun piece of popcorn that is Baby Driver, heist getaways are probably fresh on your mind.
Knowing that, you’ll probably enjoy this short The Getaway from Curt Neill, co-starring Anna Seregina and Clay Tatum, showing a much different sort of heist and subsequent result of said heist.
Actually, even if you’re not think about how bank robbers escape, we’d wager that you’ll really enjoy this short.
Issa Rae’s Insecure Season 1 Will Stream on YouTube Later This Month for Your Binging Convenience
On July 23rd, you’ll be able to watch the entire first season of Issa Rae’s Insecure if you don’t have HBO or HBOGO or a friend or family member nice enough to lend you their password.
All of it will be up on HBO’s YouTube channel, which does mean you will have to watch it with commercials, but we’re guessing that you’ll be OK with that.
Those shows sound pretty cool, right?
Well, if you wanna go, we have tickets to giveaway! Enter here.
Looks like TNT will be keeping their true crime dramedy around, which, we think, might lead to a change of that “We Know Drama” that they’ve had for so many years.

10 years ago, The Landlord came out on Funny or Die and led Will Ferrell and Adam McKay on a path towards changing the game in terms of comedy content on the Web.
To mark the milestone, Will and Adam are doing their own “accurate” recounting of FoD’s history in a new weekly series. Start with part one here.
