Moshe Kasher and Natasha Leggero just got married and as recently wed comedians, they opted to make their honeymoon into a comedy tour, aptly called The Honeymoon Tour, and give relationship advice to various audience members that they were willing to talk out their problems on stage.

The advice they gave was captured by Comedy Central and put into this really great web series that captured much of the best advice they dished out, the lovely vistas they had, and even some comically, overly gratuitous PDA.

They even had America’s Funnyman Neil Hamburger renew their vows. Please watch and enjoy all eight episodes here.

For This Is Not Happening, he shares a great story, that really paints will the emotional colors, of being a Pure Adrenaline Gangster.

Oh yeah, his book that he mentions, Kasher in the Rye, is still available for purchase.

Recently, a new comedy power couple has been made in the union between Natasha Leggero and Moshe Kasher.

Part of their union involved Natasha converting to the Jewish faith. Conversion from one faith to another is fascinating on its own, but it’s definitely undeniably intriguing from the perspective of a comedian doing so for another comedian.

Leggero explained the specifics, with punchlines, on Conan this past week.

Showtime Is Developing Moshe Kasher and Zach Cregger Pot Dealer Comedy, Produced by The Russo Brothers

May 9, 2016
Uncategorized

(via Deadline)

A spiritual successor to Showtime’s Weeds, perhaps?

Showtime’s latest comedy project in development follows a family of pot dealers who have to get their act together and look to their straight edge son when the sale of marijuana becomes legal in their state. Comedy about selling weed has worked well for Showtime before, so why not do it again?

This half hour sitcom comes from the great minds of comedian Moshe Kasher and Zach Cregger, who we’d hope you know from the Whitest Kids U Know.

The Russo Brothers (yes, the same ones who are behind many Marvel Cinematic Universe hits) have attached themselves to produce.

Making a comedy about selling pot legally has been really popular over the last few pilot seasons and we wouldn’t be surprised if this project would be the one that gets the greenlight.

Competitive Erotic Fan Fiction to Be Featured on Seeso

It’s about time this happened.

One of the many new, exciting things that are happening at NBC’s comedy streaming service, Seeso, is a thing called The Comedy Show Show, which will feature plenty of different formats of comedy shows that have grown over the last few years.

Bryan Cook’s Competitive Erotic Fan Fiction is a prime example of such a format with comedians writing erotic fiction of a pop culture subject of their choice or by random. Having toured the country and becoming a hit podcast, it’s only logical that it would get to be featured in a series at some point.

So, a taping for Seeso’s Comedy Show Show will take place at the Competitive Erotic Fan Fiction’s current home, The Virgil, on Sunday, April 17th at 8PM (doors are at 7:30PM).

The stellar line-up features past winners including such notable comedians as:

Moshe Kasher (Netflix special “Live in Oakland”)
Eliza Skinner (@Midnight, writer ‘The Late Late Show’)
Ben Roy (Star/Co-creator ‘Those Who Can’t’ on TruTv)
Dave Hill (Author, ‘Tasteful Nudes,’ Host ‘The God Damn Dave Hill Show’ on WFMU)
Ian Karmel (Conan, writer ‘The Late Late Show’)
Guy Branum (writer, ‘Another Period,’ ‘The Mindy Project’)
Andrés du Bouchet (Writer/performer on Conan)
Jackie Kashian (Conan, album ‘This Will Make An Excellent Horcrux’)
Solomon Georgio (Conan, Viceland)

The taping is free to attend, which should give you more incentive than you already have to go to this.

Two years later, the video has a sort of website spin-off GangsterPartyLine.com featuring the voicemails that people would leave when calling the real number from the video.

Every once in awhile, Brent and friends like the brilliant Moshe Kasher will actually pick up and, you know, talk some shit.

Get into the doc here and give Gangster Party Line another watch or two because it definitely still holds up.

To be clear, Moshe is not in dire straights and is actually keeping busy with his increasingly more successful active acting career, but he makes one hell of a “great” crowdfunding pitch.

Moshe Kasher Gives an Excellent Response to a Fox News Contributor Who Wrote Him a Letter to Say He Wasn’t Funny

December 4, 2014
Uncategorized
betsy hart, cnn, fox news, moshe kasher

Regular Fox News and CNN contributor Betsy Hart attended a live performance of Moshe Kasher’s recently with her daughter at Miami University and found it to be not to her liking. In fact, she not only didn’t like it, she didn’t find it funny… at all. This discovery of how unfunny she found Moshe Kasher prompted her to write him a letter personally telling Moshe how unfunny he is, referencing a bit, ironically enough, that is about how older generations have seen it all and there’s no need to censor yourself in their presence.

In most cases with most comedians, such a letter would be left to gather digital cobwebs in an e-mail archive, but Moshe felt the need to respond given Hart’s occupation and her insistence that she can “laugh at anything intelligent” amidst several other points in her letter.

Of course, Moshe’s response was brilliant and is a good template for any response to individuals who tell a comedian they aren’t funny, especially when the comedian has everyone else in the audience laughing.

Read both letters here in full.
