Soul Pancake’s Kid President Will Be Doing A Live Online Video Q&A This Wed.
Kid President, one of the best web series from Rainn Wilson’s Soul Pancake, is doing the world one better than a Reddit AMA by going live on camera and answering your questions via the Internet from the Kid President set this Wednesday.
Think of FDR’s fireside chats, but with way more impromptu dancing.
The Nielsen Company, in an attempt to more accurately represent viewership of TV shows with the current advent of the Internet and home/mobile devices, has agreed to expand the scope of their reported TV ratings to include Netflix, Amazon Instant, Xbox, Playstation, and the iPad. This is in addition to their Nielsen Twitter rating.
However, it was announced last month that the movie It’s A Disaster starring David Cross (it has a great trailer if you haven’t seen it already) from Oscilloscope will be put on the new 6 second video Twitter based app Vine.
We’re not exactly sure how all of this will play out or how much growing pains we’ll go through, but the once very segmented realms of movies, television, and the Internet are melding together, which is good, we believe, in the long run.

DC Pierson Has Soundtrack Made for His Upcoming Novel “Crap Kingdom”
It’ll be for free download this Thursday and will feature songs from the likes of Ted Leo. This might be one of the best book releases of 2013, not to mention anything DC Pierson writes is a great for a read and a laugh.
Not many other people outside of Tom Scharpling knew this, but there were extensive auditions for the band known as The Postal Service. Luckily, now there has been a tape released by Funny or Die revealing the likes of many already successful musicians and hilarious working comedians trying out for a new band managed by a guy who resembles the hilarious Jon Daly.

As Jon Stewart Takes Hiatus This Summer, John Oliver Will Fill In as Host of The Daily Show
It would be really hard to imagine that anyone would take a break from watching The Daily Show if Jon Stewart wasn’t hosting this summer because John Oliver is hilarious.
This should be really fun, you know, like The Daily Show pretty much always is.
Along with his WTF podcast getting bigger every week, not to mention the tour it’s going on, as well as his upcoming IFC show “Maron”, Marc Maron now has written a book of memoirs entitled Attempting Normal.

Parodying and putting your own spin on viral videos/memes is often times tedious and the off the mark. However, The Midnight Show does an amazing job of doing “deleted scenes” from this golden oldie of a viral video (can we say that about viral videos yet?) the worst movie death ever.
