As you might be well aware or have heard repeatedly on the news, the upcoming Republican and Democratic National Conventions will be affairs actually worth watching this time around. What is going to happen at them is anyone’s guess, especially at the RNC.

With that in mind, Stephen Colbert and his Late Show team have made a Bingo card generator for each convention that is filled with events likely to happen at either convention such as “27th mention of wall” or “white person speaking Spanish” instead of numbers.

We’ll let Colbert take it from here.

Then, get your convention Bingo card here.

UCB Digital’s latest and greatest web series Mother Mary comes from Casey Feigh and Dan Gregor and puts a very 21st century, more feminist twist on the story of the birth of Christ.

Betsy Sodaro, as you’ll notice, is pretty fantastic as a “give-no-f*cks” type of Mary.

For both the Republican National Convention and the Democratic National Convention, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert will be going live with their coverage of the two events for two weeks.

With the insane climate of this presidential election and the amount of air time that Colbert has, The Late Show has lots of stuff up their sleeve including an appearance by Jon Stewart, a giant musical number, and more.

Watch Stephen run down exactly what’s in store while on CBS This Morning even though no one is completely sure what’s going to happen at the RNC.

Just because well-trodden territory is well-trodden territory doesn’t mean worthwhile things can be found or made from it.

For instance, Edge of Seventeen from writer/director Kelly Fremon starring Hailee Steinfeld follows the crushing teen angst of high school and everything surrounding it. A whole subgenre of this type of movie surely exists on Netflix, but from the looks of the trailer, it might be worth catching.

Bob’s Burgers’ Bad Stuff Happens in The Bedroom Gets Covered by The National and Låpsley

bad stuff happens in the bathroom, bob's burgers, cover song, lapsley, music video, the national

Bob’s Burgers hasn’t been around as long as The Simpsons or Family Guy, which makes collaborations with hip music acts such as this one like The National and Låpsley covering a song that was on the show originally sung on the show’s 100th episode by H. Jon Benjamin and Kristen Schaal even more impressive.

There’s even a really great music video to go along with it.

If there can be a documentary on the font Helvetica, then certainly someone can do really great stand-up comedy about how all 50 of these United States of America got abbreviated, factually or semi-factually, into the two letter code that we all know and love today.

That someone just happens to be the great Gary Gulman.

Watch him pull of this feat on last night’s Conan.

Netflix Lands Chuck Lorre/David Javerbaum Pot Comedy Series ‘Disjointed’ Starring Kathy Bates

Multicam sitcom mogul Chuck Lorre (Big Bang Theory, Two and a Half Men, Dharma and Greg, Mom) plus the brilliant David Javerbaum of The Daily Show, An Act of God, and so much more, plus Kathy Bates plus a pot dispensary equals one of the more intriguing series pick-ups for this entire year.

So many worlds colliding here that we’re very curious to see what they’ll come up with and we don’t have any good guesses as to what it may indeed look like.

Patton Oswalt To Voice a New “My Little Pony” Episode That’s Comic Con Themed

1) We’re glad to hear of Patton Oswalt being in the mix of things again.

2) This is kind of beautiful news as My Little Pony just happens to be his daughter’s favorite show as he explained on Conan awhile ago.

3) How perfect is it that it’s a Comic-Con themed episode that he’ll be in?

This may sound like a Clickhole headline, but Insecure Morons are actually a sketch group of Max Azulay, Alex Mullen, and James Corbett and this video really does show you how to send an incendiary e-mail that you’ll instantly regret.

For people not looking on instruction on how to send an angry e-mail that you’ll immediately regret, you can probably enjoy it much more as you don’t send angry e-mails, right?

It’s a good sign for a topical comedy show when they can show a tonal flexibility to examine a very serious topic in a very sobering way, then bring it back to a great joke.

That’s what Not Safe with Nikki Glaser did when covering the topic of rape on college campuses, along with an assist from Garbage Time’s own Katie Nolan and the great Ron Funches.
