Comedy Central has been throwing a pretty nice shindig of a festival up in San Francisco for a few years and the latest edition of Clusterfest seems like it’ll be no different.

Here’s Patton Oswalt, Ilana Glazer, Nicole Byer, Craig Robinson, Jonathan Van Ness, Jeff Ross, Guy Branum, Nick Thune, Quinta Brunson, Chris DiStefano, and Matteo Lane to give you a “PSA” about it. Of course, that’s only a fraction of the line-up (which also includes Amy Poehler, John Mulaney, My Favorite Murder, The Roots, Chelsea Peretti, Courtney Barnett, and way more).

At the beginning of the year, San Francisco always has one of the biggest comedy festivals in the world, SF Sketchfest.

Just announced today, SF will be getting another giant comedy festival in the summertime, specifically June 2nd-4th, brought to you by Comedy Central.

The first ever Clusterfest has a gigantic line-up of the sort proportions and depth that Comedy Central can summon. It’s also the flip of most big time music and arts festival in that it’s mostly comedy with a bit of music as opposed to there being a comedy tent and lots and lots and lots of music a la Bonnaroo, Outside Lands, etc. (Note: producers of both those festivals are involved here). See the line-up below or in this glitterbomb filled announcement video here.

Tickets/passes go on sale this Thursday, March 2nd here. They range from $199.50 earlybird pass-$599.50 VIP Pass.

Josh Fadem & Dicker Troy (Johnny Pemberton as a truck driver/DJ/wiseman with a modulated voice) is one of the funniest things going on in LA right now (you can catch them at the end of the month in LA at The Satellite).

So, if you’re in SF, Portland, Vancouver or Seattle in February, do not miss a show that’s equal parts whimsy, chaos, tomfoolery, alternate dimensions, slapstick, and jokes.

In fact, there are currently over 700 performers that will be in more than 230 shows at 17 different venues over the course of 2 and a half weeks. Even if you’re not in or around San Francisco, it might be worth it to trek to SF to see what’s happening.

A tunnel just North of the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco has not only been renamed in honor of the beloved comedian Robin Williams, but has a delightful rainbow painted in the arch at the entrance of the tunnel.

This seems fitting for the joy and color that he brought into people’s lives as well as Robin being a way to places beyond rainbows.

For his latest hour special, Anthony Jeselnik decided to test himself by taping it in a very politically correct town like San Francisco. Having seen Jeselnik alive, well, and still toeing the line with his villainously clever material after he finished the taping, we’re thinking that it went pretty well.

You can see for yourself in a trailer for Thoughts and Prayers here, then, in full, on Netflix on Oct. 16th.

According to our sources, there was, all of sudden, an empty slot to fill on the jam packed line-up at The Outside Lands Music and Arts Festival this past weekend. Live comedy has its own tent at the festival in San Francisco, which is why Ron Funches, Joe DeRosa, Drennon Davis, and Rory Scovel were there in the first place.

Yet, the four stepped up to fill the slot on the main stage apparently as the makeshift christian a capella group Ron Funches and The Five Footprints.

More festival line-up announcements need to go like this.

In a similar fashion to SF Sketchfest’s line-up announcement video, The Outside Lands Music and Arts Festival had fun playing with the idea of announcing the line-up as a mother played by Lauren Lapkus would tell you what’s going to be on the dinner table or other weirdly out-of-place scenes with the likes of Dave Theune and Demorge Brown to be discussing what acts will be playing a giants arts and music festival.

Watch the announcement video here. Then, you can get more details on Outside Lands, which runs from Aug. 7-9, here.

Jeselnik will have 7PM and 10PM shows on Sat. Mar. 21st at The Fillmore in San Francisco where you can catch the taping of his follow-up to Caligula.

You can get tickets, of which there are a few still available, here.
