From the looks of it, the adventures of Abbi and Ilana will be bigger than ever in this new season, but the chemistry of their friendship, arguably the unshakeable core foundation of the entire series, remains intact. For Broad City, we have no doubt that fans will watch dozens more episodes that would undoubtedly continue to be delightful.
When all is said and done with Trump, we have no doubt that The President Show with Anthony Atamanuik as Trump will be thoroughly referenced and cited in the history books because of wonderful work as shown in this remote segment.
Comedy Central’s This Is Not Happening does capture some of the crazier things that happen in a comedian’s life. Though all comedians have heckling stories, few do involve getting into an actual full on fight during the show.

Comedy Central Just Ordered 7 More Episodes of “The President Show”
This comes at a perfect time as SNL just had its season finale and leaving Anthony Atamanuik, the star of The President Show in playing Trump, in the throne of Trump impersonations. Also, Trump’s scandals are racking up at an unbelievable pace upping the demand to hear late night comedy’s take on it, specifically one with Atamanuik’s version of the POTUS.
By the way, wouldn’t it be great if Trump got impeached and kicked out of The White House through the course of these 7 episodes? Crazier things have already happened from this Administration by the way.
Comedy Central’s will be taping their latest season of This Is Not Happening with Ari Shaffir very soon at Cheetah’s in Los Feliz. There are 14 tapings currently available to attend for free, so long as you RSVP, and, as usual, they’ve got a very, very stacked line-up.
Stories will be coming from the likes of Darrell Hammond, Scott Thompson, Anthony Atamanuik, Byron Bowers, Sandra Bernhard, Kyle Kinane, Sean Patton, Chris Garcia, Joel Kim Booster, and Tom Segura to name a few.

Whether or not Klepper actually fulfills the premise of the title of this special, you should probably watch it as Klepper has been doing solid work in the field for The Daily Show.

At 10PM, Moshe Kasher is going to tackle the issues, warts and all, only like Moshe can. That means exploring all angles and weaving some of the sharpest senses of humor around.

It was already enticing enough to hear what Comedy Central has lined-up with late night thus far between Moshe Kasher, The President Show with Atamanuik’s Trump, Jim Jefferies, and Jordan Klepper’s new show.
Now, they’ve got a whole new chunk of programming and pilots that give a lot to look forward to.
Taskmaster, from Alex Horne, has Reggie Watts hosting a competition as the “taskmaster” between comedians performing “stupefying tasks”. New Negroes will be the TV adaptation of the live showcase hosted by Baron Vaughn and Open Mike Eagle featuring new black talent.
Comedy Central has also upped their digital series Alternatino with Arturo Castro and Delco Proper from John McKeever and Tommy Pope to full fledged TV pilots.
The other pilots include projects such as Neal Brennan interviewing celebrity guests in their home town, former Nightly Show contributor Franchesca Ramsey perhaps repackaging The Nightly Show, and a stand-up show from Jak Knight.
Scripted half-hour pilots include a South Side Chicago based comedy from Bashir Salahuddin, Diallo Riddle and Sultan Salahuddin, a Queens based comedy following rapper/actress/comedian Awkwafina, an Austin based sitcom from Noël Wells, and an existential sibling comedy from Chris Kelly & Sarah Schneider.
From this, we can only hope that Comedy Central reaffirms its place in comedy going forward as Netflix, HBO, and FX are currently riding the high tides of critical praise and awards.
At the stroke of midnight this eve, a blue hairy, eldritch, yet somewhat friendly demon known only as Gorburger, voiced by TJ Miller, will descend upon an unsuspecting TV studio to host his own late night talk show.
You’ll be able to see if his bloodlust overcomes his curiosity of celebrity guests and playing talk show games.

This Fall, Jordan Klepper Will Be Getting the 11:30 Companion Slot to The Daily Show
Always trying to keep it in the family when they can, Comedy Central is upping Jordan Klepper from Daily Show correspondent to having his own show right after The Daily Show with Trevor Noah, Monday-Thursdays.
Details are sparse at this point, but we hope that Comedy Central leans into Klepper’s exemplary work with his field pieces.
As it stands now, that does mean The President Show with Donald Trump (Anthony Atamanuik), which premieres later this month, will have to either close out its first season/cycle this fall or move to Fridays. We’ll just have to find out in a few months.
Remember last week when Comedy Central announced a Trump themed show with very little details?
Turns out we were right on the money.
Anthony Atamanuik, the best Trump impressionist out there, will be playing Trump as a weekly late night talk show host starting later this month. Here’s an official announcement video.
The only regret we have here is that this show hasn’t existed since November.

Doug Benson Comes Out on Top in @midnight 2017 Tournament of Champions
In many ways, it would seem as if Doug Benson was made for @midnight. Excelling at quick wordplay and riffing on the Internet has lead to him being one of the go-to competitors for the show and, for 2017, the @midnight champ. Take note that @midnight has been on the air for over 3 years, meaning that they have a deep, deep pool to pull from for this now annual contest.
Benson won this week in the final round of The Tournament of Champions over at Moshe Kasher and Milana Vayntrub.
Paul F. Tompkins has been the only other @midnight Tournament of Champions winner.
With a new lease on life on Comedy Central, The Gorburger Show is looking to go for broke for how crazy the blue demon-hosted late night talk show will be.
This trailer shows just insane it’s going to get with TJ Miller voicing the titular Gorburger and having his big time guests, which does indeed include the likes of Larry King and Kenny G, deal with Gorburger wishes.
Look for the series premiere of The Gorburger Show with TJ Miller on Sunday, April 9th at midnight on Comedy Central.
Now, there are almost no details about this so-called President Show with Donald Trump other than two twitter accounts, @presidentshow and @latenightdonald, and a press release that reads “Late night TV is broken. A TOTAL DISASTER. I alone can fix it!”
However, there being a slot where The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore used to be and Anthony Atamanuik’s fantastic appearances as Trump on @midnight lead us to believe that this would indeed be a mutation of the late night talk show format on Comedy Central with the one and only Donald Trump, as played by Atamanuik, at the helm.
In our opinion, Anthony Atamanuik has the best Trump impression out there. Between a series on Fusion, countless live shows, a nationwide tour, album, and more, Anthony knows how to skewer Trump by exemplifying his characteristics to a capital gold T.
So, if this indeed what we think it is, we’re all in for a wonderful treat that we’re guessing will start a Twitter feud between @realdonaldtrump and @latenightdonald.
Haddish, Lee, and Hardwick will all get to sing their hearts out after telling the story behind their tune on Comedy Central’s brand new show, The Comedy Jam created by Josh Adam Meyers.

Those are the 14 names that will get to do a half hour Comedy Central special that will be now called “Comedy Central Stand-Up Presents” later this Fall. If you take a closer look, this might be CC’s best, most diverse half-hour line-up yet (i.e. it’s mostly fantastic comics that aren’t straight white guys)
Kind of harkens back to the days of when Comedy Central had “Comedy Central Presents”, doesn’t it?
