In the spirit of Halloween, Key & Peele present a kid that, like in many horror movies, has something terribly wrong with them. That being said, they’re still eligible for the Make-A-Wish foundation’s help…
…even though you’d never want to grant their wish.
In case you haven’t heard, Stephen Colbert is set to leave The Colbert Show after almost a decade at the end of 2014 in order to replace David Letterman at The Late Show.
In fact, there’s only 32 episodes left of The Colbert Report as was announced last night by Stephen himself. They should all be a doozy or, as he says, “instant classics”.
So, on the final episode, you guess is as good is ours as to what might happen. We’re guessing something in the realm of the Colbert going to switch out his glasses, perhaps take off a espionage grade latex mask off his own face to signal the end of the “character” Stephen Colbert.

Following Mad Men, many have pondered what Christina Hendricks next role would be. It seems that she’ll take after her co-stars Jon Hamm and Elisabeth Moss and more who have taken on more comedic roles outside of AMC.
Hendricks has just joined the cast of the faux reality show set in the 1900s Another Period coming to Comedy Central making a perfect addition to stars Natasha Leggero and Riki Lindhome.
We have no doubt that there will be side-by-side .gifs of Joan Holloway and Hendricks character on Another Period and what they would potentially think of each other.
On Letterman, Keegan Michael-Key and Jordan Peele explain their dynamic on Key & Peele that they divvy up between brains and the ability and willingness to take on an attack dog.

On Tues,, so much good comedy releases came out that we’re still talking about new releases two days later. This week, Comedy Central Records officially came out for Dan Mintz’s new comedy album The Stranger.

A month ago, Comedy Central announced that it had ordered a talk show pilot from the amazing Kurt Braunohler entitled “Gettin’ Some Strange”. While details were scarce for the pilot, a description for the taping reads:
Gettin’ Some Strange with Kurt Braunohler, is a late-night talk show, in which comedian Braunohler (featured regular on Comedy Central’s @midnight) covers the strangest stories of the day, revealing just how beautifully insane our world actually is.
So, basically, we’re saying, go to the taping on Sun. Oct. 12th at Occidental Studios here in LA.
Though there have been famous verbal jousts between Bill O’Reilly and Jon Stewart in the past, it would seem the host of The O’Reilly Factor has a much different relationship with Stephen Colbert and The Colbert Report.
Bill O’Reilly called out Colbert for poking fun at his plan for a internationally funded mercenary force to deal with the conflict in the Middle East. Of course, Colbert wasn’t going to let that go, especially since they’re “on” the same side.

Dan Mintz, who we’d hope you know from both Bob’s Burgers and his stand-up, is releasing a brand new stand-up album, The Stranger, from Comedy Central Records.
It comes out Oct. 7th and you’ll have to give it a listen to not only hear hilarious jokes, but also to see if the title is a reference to famed author Albert Camus.

Whether you’re aware of it or not, Comedy Central is on a roll. Drunk History, Nathan For You, Broad City, “@midnight”, Kroll Show, seem to all be solid in so many respects and thus, it shouldn’t be a surprise that their 1900s scripted comedy Another Period starring Riki Lindhome and Natasha Leggero has just added a stellar supporting/guest cast.
Lauren Ash, Michael Ian Black, Paget Brewster, Beth Dover, Brett Gelman, Brian Huskey, David Koechner, Jason Ritter, David Wain and Armen Weitzman are all set to round out the show following Rhode Island’s “first family”.
While, Another Period won’t come around until 2015, 2015 isn’t that far off.
Living comedy legend Bill Cosby sits down and has a chat with comedy legend in the making Stephen Colbert.
That should suffice for an explanation of why you should watch this interview now.
South Park is back for its 18th season and Key and Peele is back for its 4th and we all couldn’t be more excited for the two to not only return with new episodes, but return on the same night, back to back.
South Park airs its season premiere at 10PM and Key and Peele follows with theirs right after at 10:30PM on Comedy Central.
Schedule yourself accordingly.
Key & Peele returns tomorrow night on Comedy Central and while we can feel the anticipation in there being mere hours until then, there’s still all of today and most of tomorrow that we have to go through before said season premiere.

South Park will getting into its 18th season this Wed. Oct. 24th at 10PM on Comedy Central. After years of being the amazing animated satirical series, they don’t show any signs of slowing down.
Just look at this clip where they take The Washington Redskins controversy to task.
While doing comedy live is well and good, there’s always a bit of housekeeping to do to ensure everyone has a good time. Often, that is making announcement about what happens after the show.
In Tom Lennon’s case, while at The Meltdown with Jonah and Kumail, he invited people to hang, and then some, after the show.
The gathering of Barry Rothbart, Betsy Sodaro, Brian Huskey, Cornell Reid, Nick Rutherford, and Chris Reinacher under one roof makes for batshit crazy house. It also makes for a very funny web series that was just released at CC:Studios called 300 Sunnyside.
Watch episodes one, two, and three now and be thankful that you get to watch the insanity at their house from the comfort of YouTube rather than actual live it.
How much set up do we need to do here before you get to watching their very first sketch from the brand new season where they deal with slightly less than clever alien invaders? Not much, we hope.

CBS Sunday Morning News did a great segment on them that gets into their motivations behind what they do and how Key & Peele specifically handle race and touchy topics their own very progressive way. Watch it here.
The second season of Broad City isn’t coming until Jan. 2015, so we’ve got a few months to kill before that comes around.
Luckily, there’s an accompanying web series “Hack Into Broad City” that should give you the Abbi and Ilana fix you’ve been craving.
Adam Devine’s House Party returned last week on Comedy Central for its second season as well as a big ol’ crazy house party down in New Orleans.
In the midst of all of that, the hilarious Ian Karmel told a great joke on exactly why he thinks if there really was a God, he’d be weird. Watch it here, but think twice before you try to tell a religion joke at a house party.
Gabe Liedman and Jenny Slate are besties, in case you don’t know. So, when they’re on The Meltdown with Jonah and Kumail on Comedy Central, they are, of course, going to read a screenplay, that may just be more than a screenplay.
For the rest of us, it’s just a movie that we hope gets made even though it’s around 4 pages long.
Even futzing a line or, in this case on “@midnight”, struggling to give an answer, Paul F. Tompkins is a delight. Having John Hodgman, Greg Proops, and Chris Hardwick add to the chaos is damn fun as well.

Season 4 of Key & Peele is almost upon us. Sept 24th will see the premiere of new episodes full of new sketches that we all won’t be able to get enough of.

Drunk History enlisted one of its best in Jen Kirkman to tell the story and Jen does not disappoint.
The Meltdown with Jonah and Kumail has sure been having as much on stage as they have off stage. Just check out Todd Glass give out ice cream “Ed Debevic’s” style and Pete Holmes, Kyle Kinane, and Thomas Lennon jam out a “forgotten" Garfunkel & Oates cut as a three piece band in front of Garfunkel & Oates.
After watching that, make sure you’re watching every Wed. on Comedy Central at 12:30AM as well as going to the live show also every wed. at Nerdmelt, 8:30PM.
