Really, any chance you can get to see Jenny Slate, Max Silvestri, and Gabe Liedman individually should be taken immediately.

Above that, it should be mandatory to see the three of them assemble for their long running, yet occasional (because they’re busy making big time specials, shows, etc.) Big Terrific at Largo where it’s a night of stand-up and stories from Jenny, Max, and Gabe.

Thankfully, there’s one coming up, right after Valentine’s Day, on Sat. Feb. 15th at 8:30PM at Largo. Tickets are $30 and you really ought to get them here.

LGBTQ, Spy, Adult-Animated Comedy “Q-Force” from Gabe Liedman, Mike Schur, Sean Hayes Ordered to Series

LGBTQ, Spy, Adult-Animated Comedy “Q-Force” from Gabe Liedman, Mike Schur, Sean Hayes Ordered to Series

We’re really curious how this will look, sound, feel, and how edgy it might get. Will it be Archer, but a tad more socially conscious? Maybe, since Schur’s involved, an animated version of Brooklyn Nine-Nine with higher stakes? Also, whether intentional or not, this should pair nicely with Netflix’s drag superhero cartoon Super Drags.

It’s hard to say at this point, but Mike Schur and Gabe Liedman and Sean Hayes together ought to come up with something that’s worth binging through whenever this comes out.

Jon Daly and his mighty sax are taking over The Satellite yet again for Jon Daly Kills It next week and have one damn stuffed line-up for the holidays.

Really, just look at that line-up and you might question whether you’ve been good enough this year to deserve it? Hopefully so.

Anyways, tickets are $10 and you can (and very much should) go get them here.

Gabe Liedman and Jenny Slate Read Jenny’s “Screenplay” at The Meltdown with Jonah and Kumail

Gabe Liedman and Jenny Slate are besties, in case you don’t know. So, when they’re on The Meltdown with Jonah and Kumail on Comedy Central, they are, of course, going to read a screenplay, that may just be more than a screenplay.

For the rest of us, it’s just a movie that we hope gets made even though it’s around 4 pages long.

Obvious Child Starring Jenny Slate Acquired by The Exchange & A24

We had a good feeling about Obvious Child directed by Gillian Robespierre that is faring quite well at Sundance when we saw the Kickstarter for finishing funds months ago.

Thanks to The Exchange and A24, the whole world will potentially see the release of a film starring the amazing Jenny Slate playing a stand up comedian in Brooklyn also featuring Gabe Liedman and Gaby Hoffman.

Rest assured, we’ll be looking for a release date like the rest of you.

Help ‘Obvious Child’ Starring Jenny Slate Get Finishing Funds

If you have prerequisites for supporting a Kickstarter, we’d hope that a funny film getting accepted into sundance and a film starring Jenny Slate with Gaby Hoffman and Gabe Liedman would be good enough for you to donate.

Gillian Robespierre’s Obvious Child has indeed been accepted into Sundance and from this Kickstarter video looks like it definitely belongs there. As suggested above, Slate, Hoffman, and Liedman are all in it, so give it some money so it can finish and be a potential indie comedy hit in Park City, UT next year.
