Announced today, Comedy Central has ordered its latest series which will be panel debate show taking on the most controversial, divisive, and polarizing topics today between comedians and audience members.
It’s aptly called Problematic with Moshe Kasher and Moshe will be leading the way through each episode, injecting the funny where people might normally lean towards biting each other’s heads off.

Here are the rest of the comedy winners for the Creative Arts Emmys and the Interactive Media Emmys as well as the complete list of Emmys winners.
For the most part, heavy perennial favorites won here, and deservingly so, like Veep, Transparent, and Last Week Tonight with John Oliver. Key & Peele got a proper send-off for the final season with this Emmy win and what might be talked about as one of Louie Anderson’s best performances of his career in Baskets as the mother nabbed him a statue as well. Also, Master of None’s writing definitely earned its Emmy win here.
Take note of the power of premium cable and streaming services, particularly HBO and Amazon, in this round of winners.
This week’s edition of Comedy Central’s The Half Hour will feature the comedy stylings of Ali Saddiq and Cy Amundson, making for a night of very pointed observational comedy.

James Davis has carved out his own slot at Comedy Central by explaining urban slang in his Comedy Central Snapchat series Swagasaurus. Now, he’s getting a big upgrade with a weekly show that will expand on delving into his “urban point-of-view” starting early next year.
Anyone think this will make up for The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore getting cancelled?
The Roastmaster General Jeff Ross, like he did with inmates in his last special, wants to get to know cops and is doing so through by spending some time following them through their job, talking with them, and, of course, dishing out some roast jokes. Ross got to do this with the Boston Police Department, police brutality protesters, and even a police commissioner.
Take note that the whole week might very well be a roast week for Comedy Central as The Roast of Rob Lowe airs a few days before.
Also, take note that Jeff Ross Roasts Cops will premiere on Saturday, September 10th at 11PM and not on 9/11 or 9/12.
Last night was the final episode of The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore. Unfortunately, that marks far too short of a run for the series, especially in the heat of an election year.
In their final half hour of air time, Jon Stewart paid a visit and offer some beautiful, sincere words of encouragement (including a mention of what David Letterman told him when he faced cancellation). After that, Larry Wilmore explained why the map on their set looks like it’s upside down and detailed the mission statement of The Nightly Show, which should be a goal for the rest of late night going forward.
