This has the same wonderfully chaos of one of Conan’s remote segments, but it just so happens that Conan O’Brien is on his own soundstage as opposed to some sort of martial arts academy.

Watch and enjoy Conan vs. watermelons here.

Simone Giertz, Queen of Sh*tty Robots, Shows Off Her Sh*tty Robots to Stephen Colbert

Sweden’s Simone Giertz has made a career out of making robots that are seemingly designed to do a singular function, but are really made to only kind of do that one function in the quest to bring joy to all.

Giertz has a very popular YouTube channel where you can see a drone try to cut hair, a robot that can argue with the Internet, and more.

This week, she got to show off her wares to Stephen Colbert and The Late Show and it was a whole bunch of fun.

You’ll also be surprised to know that CBS censors curse words in foreign languages.

Drew Michael’s “Funny to Death” Is an All Inclusive Trip to the Dark Side

When it comes to dark comedy, there are a lot of comedians that walk on the dark side merely as a stunt. They just say something shocking just to get a rise out of people and, more often than not, there’s no real depth or artistry to it.

Drew Michael deals in dark comedy, but does so by genuinely exploring the darkest corners of his already dark thoughts including his uncanny affinity for manifestos. On his latest album Funny to Death, he takes a wry journey through his psyche that offers pros and cons of his beliefs, flaws, and insecurities that’s hilarious if you choose to take the ride. It’s dark comedy that’s more personal and vulnerable than it is just the idea of being dark.

Michael had his half hour special premiere on Comedy Central earlier this week, but you can get a more unfiltered, uncut, uncensored, longer offering from him with Funny to Death, available here.

As Gil Faizon and George St. Geegland are about to take on Broadway, their real life counterparts Nick Kroll and John Mulaney went on The Tonight Show and explained to Jimmy Fallon and the rest of the country what’s at the core of both Faizon and St. Geegland and why they’re doing Oh, Hello.

Of course, Kroll and Mulaney have fun with it, especially in NBC Experience Store attire.

Better Things star and co-creator Pamela Adlon has got a lot of buzz built around her series premiering next week.

In this first look, she gives a tour of sorts as to what to expect from what seems simultaneously like the spiritual successor to Louie and it’s own separate, very personal show.

Look for the series premiere of Better Things on Thursday, September 8th on FX.

These two Daily Show with Jon Stewart alums once had their own late night shows on the air at the same time.

Then, Comedy Central, seemingly out-of-nowhere, brought down the axe on The Nightly Show.

A few weeks later/last night, Stephen Colbert brought Larry Wilmore on The Late Show and commiserated the loss of his show as well as the strange experience of hosting the White House Correspondents Dinner.

At this point, we’d be surprised if several months go by without Larry hosting another show.

Mike Drucker To Be Head Comedy Writer on New Bill Nye Show on Netflix

Well, Bill Nye will be in good hands, comedy wise.

First off, you should be happy that Bill Nye is going to have another show, Bill Nye Saves the World, in a dire 2016 where there are people who think the earth is flat, staunchly deny climate change, and are more skeptical of science than we’ve been in recent memory.

Secondly, you should be happy that there’s a designated head comedy writer for the show and that gig has been bestowed on the very funny and clever Mike Drucker. Drucker is a great stand-up and his written for such big cultural institutions as Nintendo and The Tonight Show.

Thirdly, you should be happy it’ll be on Netflix, so you can watch over and over when you want.

One of The Midnight Show’s more enduring and weirder characters (and that’s saying a lot since it’s The Midnight Show) is Hal Rudnick’s Eric Jennifer. He’s an “awkward man child with a heart of gold” to put it lightly.

This Labor Day Weekend, The Midnight Show is handing over the keys to Eric Jennifer and he’s having a party with plenty of guests including:
Jason Kaye
Jeanne Taylor
Marshall Givens
Nick Gligor
Joey Clift
Stephen Perlstein
Cassi Jerkins
Michael Gabriel
and MORE!!

Eric Jennifer’s Labor Day BBQ is happening this Saturday at midnight at UCB Franklin and you can (and should) get your tickets here.

Connor Ratliff’s Presidential Run Is Going to Name a New and Different VP Pick Everyday for a Month

A move like this almost approaches being as ridiculous as Trump’s flip-flopping.

Weeks ago, comedian Connor Rafliff announced that he was running for President merely as a joke and with no intention of winning. He actually endorses Hillary Clinton while continuing his campaign.

So, his latest attention-grabbing stunt is to make different a pick for his potential vice presidential running mate for 30 consecutive days.

We think he’s off to a great start with picking every living VP that has served assembled into a “Suicide Squad”.

Arguably, the father of mockumentaries, Christopher Guest, has his latest film coming very soon to Netflix.

After covering the worlds of hair metal, dog shows, folk music, and more, Guest points his focus towards the world of mascots with his usual suspects of Fred Willard, Jennifer Coolidge, and Parker Posey as well as the delightful Zach Woods, Bob Balaban, Sarah Baker, Christopher O’Dowd, Jane Lynch, Ed Begley Jr., and more.

It shouldn’t come as a surprise, but this is one of the funniest trailers we’ve seen in awhile.

Look for Mascots to start streaming on October 13th on Netflix.

Eva Anderson and Stephen Falk Are Developing a Comedy About a YouTube Channel of Thirtysomethings That Go Too Far

In the quest of views, YouTube personalities will often times ignore the laws of decency and taste or actual on-the-books laws to pull off something “viral”. Eva Anderson has created the comedy project Radicalocity with Stephen Falk at FX to examine the absurdity of this phenomenon. We hope this goes to series just to see where they go with it.

By the way, this is the third comedy project that Falk has currently going over at FX from an overall deal on top of his critically acclaimed You’re The Worst.
