During this most recent Conan appearance, Cross details what got cut out from his very first set, over 20 years ago, on network TV on Late Night with Conan O’Brien and the way that a small number of audience members, in 2016, walk out of his shows now.

Matt Braunger Offers a Great Follow-Up to Horrific “How to Talk to Women Wearing Headphones” Article

Basically, this sentient-grease-fire of an article called How To Talk to a Woman Who Is Wearing Headphones by Dan Bacon was just posted that not only encourages unwanted advances by men to pick up women, but reinforces patriarchal gender roles and stereotypes to the point that you might question whether you’re living in 2016 yet.

Comedian/sane human being who does live in 2016, Matt Braunger, felt that that Dan Bacon left out a few steps and offered his own satirical corollary, How To Talk to a Woman Wearing Headphones Pt. 2 that almost washes out the bad taste of the source material out of your mouth.

Aasif Mandvi Developing Dark Comedy ‘Fatwa’ at Showtime with Writer/Producer Dave Holstein

It’s about time someone made an entire dark comedy series about cartoonists who get death threats for certain cartoons that cross certain religious lines.

Aasif Mandvi and Dave Holstein, who Mandvi worked with on The Brink, are developing the dark comedy Fatwa over at Showtime that will focus entirely on that and have Mandvi star.

It should be a nice follow-up to the last series that Mandvi got top-billing in, Halal in the Family.

Luckily, Frankie Quinones is going to fix that very specific problem on Mas Mejor starting with this rap battle right here.

One of the biggest things going on at Super Deluxe is the edited mash-up/remix/reimagining videos of Vic Berger.

His work chopping up the most awkward moments of Family Feud with Steve Harvey into an existential meltdown  is of particular note.

So, Berger has got another video mined from the treasure trove of gravely concerned Steve Harvey facial expressions, this time from Harvey’s other show, Ask Steve.

It’s possibly even more existential than the first one.

It’s often said of Miles Davis that he changed jazz many times. Along with his trailblazing artistry, Davis was often just as challenging off stage as he was on stage.

A particular interview dreamed up and starring found by DeMorge Brown from a Swiss jazz program known as “Der Plattenteller Mit Jürgen Zeit” shows how much of an iconoclast Miles Davis could be.

RIP Gene Wilder, 1933-2016

Gene Wilder had a hand in some of the most iconic comedic films of all time including Blazing Saddles, Young Frankenstein, and Willy Wonka and The Chocolate Factory. Today, he has passed away apparently due to complications stemming from Alzheimer’s disease.

Whether you’re familiar with his work or not, you should definitely rewatch or watch, discover, and be amazed for the first time by his long and storied filmography.

So much of it holds up even though this is 2016.

Since Concealed Carry on College Campuses Is Now Legal in Texas and Carrying Sex Toys Are Not, a UT Alum Is Putting on a Pretty Great Protest #CocksNotGlocks

Has there ever been another moment in human history where protesting concealed carry of a firearm with a permit on a college campus was done by the rebellious open carry of sex toys?

We can’t remember one and maybe that’s because Texas’ SB 11 law that allows for concealed carry by students on a college campus exists at the same time where certain student bylaws prohibit someone freely carrying around a dildo.

The absurdity of the situation was pointed out by University of Texas alum Jessica Jin as a joke and then has turned into this powerful protest (that’s still pretty funny to look at as well).
