Louie is finally back at FX after the long hiatus on Monday night.
Here’s a great taste of what season 4 is like so far with CK perfectly recreating what we think when we hear garbage in the morning.
Season 4 of Louie Premieres Tonight on FX
We know the NBA Playoffs are still underway, but if the bar you’re at isn’t showing basketball, they should be showing the premiere of the brand new season of Louis C.K.’s Louie tonight on FX at 10PM. If you’re at home, you should definitely be watching Louie with two episodes playing back to back.
You’ll still be able to catch the second half of the game afterwards.
Up until now, the promos for Louie on FX have been surrealist, black and white, contemplative, and absent of any clips from this upcoming fourth season.
Well, these two TV spots give you the first look into exactly that, showing C.K. feeling like he’s dying, doing stand-up about “dying”, and more. Watch both promos here.
It’s just another nice, surrealist reminder that Louie is back May 5th on FX.
It’s short and doesn’t reveal much, but this promo a friendly reminder that Louie is returning May 5th, just over a month from now, and you need to get ready, however you’ll do so, for that date.
Louie Returns May 5 with Two Episodes a Week
The wait is almost over and it’s even going to be made better. Of course, we mean in reference to the headline. After over a year and half, Louis CK‘s Louie is returning to TV for its fourth season and you’ll get back-to-back episodes each week almost two months straight.
So make several reminders for this for May 5th 10PM on FXx.
Louis C.K. Inks Overall Deal with FX for New Series
It shouldn’t be shocking to you, but, at the same time, great news that Louis C.K. is getting an overall deal at FX/FXx to produce more series.
Perhaps, he’ll try to develop those pitches in the one episode of Louie where he walked a TV exec from having lunch with him.
Parks and Recreation and Louie Win at TCA Awards
It’s not surprising that Parks and Recreation and Louis CK’s Louie received another award to add to their collection from the Television Critics’ Association.
Just so we are clear, being not surprising, in this case, is a good thing.
TCA Awards Nominees Are What You’d Expect
Louie, Girls, Veep, and Parks and Recreation all garner nominations for the upcoming Television Critics Association Awards as well semi-family animated program Adventure Time.
Only surprise is that all Program of the Year nominees are dramas.

9) It has come to the attention of the Comedy Bureau that two videos in particular on Osama Bin Laden’s death featuring the amazing Table of Galaxies (the hilarious duo of James Adomian and Whitest Kids U Know’s Trevor Moore) and Hasan Minhaj didn’t get nearly enough press (even though they’ve already been posted here) due to the political nature of the humor in them. Interestingly enough, we have not vilified Bin Laden the same way we have Adolf Hitler. Hitler is one of the “go to” references for evil incarnate and Bin Laden is far from that. It’s not like when Indiana Jones met Hitler when there was no doubt that Indy is looking into the face of evil. The annoucement of Osama Bin Laden’s death in the social networking age where “no stone goes unturned” and subsequently made fun of brought about jokes about the death of Osama Bin Laden explore the mythos behind Osama Bin Laden, even questioning whether he really died or not. Watch the two videos below and think about it.
