Between hosts Johnny Pemberton and DJ Douggpound and guests on this inaugural show’s line-up Howard Kremer and Brent Weinbach, there have been so much of their comedic work that has seen the light of day and enjoyed thoroughly by many.

Of course, as “the biz” is indeed a business, they have plenty of projects that were passed on and PASSED offers all of them a chance to present what some suits ignored in the past.

With all of that said, go get your tickets here.

Basically, anytime Jamie Loftus does a show, your presence and attention should be mandatory.

Thusly, as Jamie Loftus has a new show about being a hacker, you should get yourself to the Lyric Hyperion Theatre & Cafe in Silverlake on Saturday June 30th and Friday, July 6th at 8PM.

Tickets for this show, The Hacker Who Codes (A Work in Progress), are $5 and you can (and should) get them here and here respectively.

Yes, it’s happening (it being What’s the Story with Todd and Rory? @ Dynasty Typewriter at the Hayworth) again!

Todd Glass and Rory Scovel will be doing a completely unprepared hour of wherever their minds take them.

We went to the first one and can assuredly say that Todd and Rory are among the best at “totally winging it”

Tickets are $10 a pop in advance and $15 at the door. Go get them here.

This is just a friendly neighborhood reminder that one of the most bonkers, down right fun comedy shows, Late Late Breakfast, is coming around to LA again on July 7th.

Tyler Jackson and Danny Maupin make stand-ups go through insane challenges while telling their jokes that involve anything from preparing food, taking on the attitude of the seven deadly sins, the audience doing karaoke, etc.

It’s controlled chaos at its best and you shouldn’t miss it for anything.

Again, the latest edition of Late Late Breakfast will be on Saturday, July 7th at Silverlake Lounge with doors opening 4PM. The show does take donations!

By himself, Joey Greer, one of our favorite improvisers around, puts on one hell of a show by improvising bits for an hour with the aid/disruption of a DJ.

It’s as crazy of a “conversation” you can have (with music playing intermittently).

The next edition of In Conversation with Music will be on Wednesday, July 18th at 10PM at Dynasty Typewriter at the Hayworth Theater. Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door. Please do get them in advance here.

This show had a far too short run at the Improv. Thankfully, this improvised powerpoint show is coming back once more at Dynasty Typewriter at Hayworth Theater next week on Wed., June 27th at 8PM.

Zed Cutsinger and Andrew Michaan’s PowerPointless will also have a line-up including Natasha Leggero, Moshe Kasher, Nick Thune, Brent Weinbach, and David Dineen-Porter that’s more than up to the task of BS-ing their way through an actual PowerPoint presentation that they’ve never seen before.

Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door. Please get them here.

If you want to see how daft comedy can truly get (in the best way possible of course, done by very talented, clever folks), you might want to catch Brendon Small and Brendon Walsh’s BREN2ON (pronounced BREN-TU-DIN) at the end of this month (Tuesday, May 29th at 8PM) at Lyric Hyperion Theatre & Cafe.

Brendon and Brendon really push the limits of how silly and dumb they can get (i.e. prank calls, DIY crafts, etc.) and, in a unique way, it’s brilliant. Also, the amazing Morgan Murphy, Henry Phillips, and Jamie Loftus will be joining them as well.

Tickets are $5 and you can (and really should) get them here.
