On last night’s Late Show, Stephen Colbert put on a display of verbal aerobics just based off a reporter mistakenly calling Sen. Bernie Sanders, Bernie Sandwiches.
Colbert really makes this desk piece way more fun than you think it’s going to be.
With Larry David hosting last night’s SNL, it’s imperative that the show do something involving Larry’s HBO series Curb Your Enthusiasm and/or Larry as Bernie Sanders, since he was such a hit doing it the first time this season.
Thus SNL checked off two boxes with one Bern Your Enthusiasm.
It definitely plays more like an episode of Curb than a Bernie Sanders sketch, but, ehh, you’re probably ok with that.
While this becomes more and more of a reality, the parody of a Donald Trump and Bernie Sanders as played respectively by Anthony Atamanuik and James Adomian presidential debate is well on its way to touring across these great United States.

One of the absolute best comedic takes from the upcoming presidential election is the birth of master impressionists Anthony Atamanuik and James Adomian debating each other as presidential candidates Donald Trump and Bernie Sanders, respectively.
Officially in the election year, we’re glad to hear that they’re not only going to continue doing their hysterical, pitch perfect debates, but they are going to tour the country with it. Already, they’re kicking it off at Riot LA on Jan. 30th
They’ll also be stopping in Philadelphia’s World Cafe Live on Feb. 15th.
More dates and cities are to be announced and you should not miss your chance to see this before it might happen in real life with the real Trump and Bernie.

If you’re feeling conflicted about watching SNL tonight because of Trump, watching this will more than make up for it.
While this actual debate of Sanders vs. Trump may never happen, it’s certainly pretty great to see two of the best impressions of presidential candidates Bernie Sanders and Donald Trump done by James Adomian and Anthony Atamanuik, respectively.
The two character versions of Sanders and Trump got to debate head-to-head during Whiplash at UCB NY and this highlight reel is pretty much everything you’d hope it be.
Last night, Bernie Sanders got to show more of his fun side while hanging out with Nightly Show host Larry Wilmore. They dug into some real good looking soul food and Sanders took every one of Larry’s jokes in stride and played along really well like a president should be able to.

The master impressionist and one of our favorite comedians around, James Adomian, got to bring his latest and greatest impression on @midnight with Chris Hardwick last night.
Of course, James gave a great glimpse of what the spirited Sen. Sanders could bring to the podium of a game show along side Heather Anne Campbell and Jon Daly.

Maybe Sen .Sanders will have Adomian’s impression of him as a running mate?
James Adomian wants to prove beyond 100% of at least 70% of a doubt that 73 year old U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders, currently running for President, is not a boring guy and completely deserves the votes of 30% of the younger demographic that’s 85% outside his current constituency.
James gave it his best shot here.
The real Senator Bernie Sanders is probably getting free promotion and a bump in social media presence from James Adomian playing him in a recent episode of Dan Harmon’s Harmontown.
