Greta Gerwig to Star In CBS Spin-Off Pilot of How I Met Your Mother

How I Met Your Dad, a spin off of CBS hit sitcom How I Met Your Mother, will indeed star as well as be produced and even written by indie comedy darling Greta Gerwig.

No word on whether they will have her dancing and a few episodes tastefully done in black and white, but if this gets picked up with her current level on involvement, this could be great.

Taking from the numerous complaints about the conditions of room and board for non-athletes at The Sochi Winter Olympics, Conan O’Brien and Yuri Tamarov, Sochi hotel PR rep/Andrés du Bouchet make a classic sketch.

How is it classic? Well, when Conan uses the superlative “dumbest” to describe something that just happened when the sketch is over, it’s pretty safe to say it’s classic.

Watch the sketch here.

He’ll have to get the health code business sorted out and not go to jail before all of that happens though.

Watch him discuss this as well as plug Dumb Starbucks with merch on Kimmel here.

Gary Sanchez Productions Launches Women-Focused Gloria Sanchez Productions

Will Ferrell, Adam McKay and Chris Henchy’s Gary Sanchez Productions has just launched Gloria Sanchez Productions that will be keyed in on making female centric film and television.
There are plenty of directions that this could go in, many of which could be not unlike what Amy Poehler’s been doing recently with Broad City and her overall deal at NBC. We’re curious to see if this might possibly mean that Gary Sanchez could lean more towards testosterone fueled projects as a result.

Jerry Seinfeld and Howard Stern take a Pontiac GTO out on this episode of Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee and Stern takes the interview more into his territory by asking Seinfeld tougher questions than what’s usually shot back and forth on the show with the guests.

Also, the Acura ads in this are probably the funniest ones thus far. Watch the episode at the link.

Jamie Lee and Josh Rabinowitz star and do a great job trying to not rip each other’s throats out as a recently broken up couple.
