Here’s a Full Trailer For The Will Ferrell-Kristen Wiig “A Deadly Adoption” Movie

If you were wondering how much of a send-up/tribute the Lifetime-esque movie A Deadly Adoption with Will Ferrell and Kristen Wiig would be of Lifetime, you’ll enjoy the full trailer that definitely shows all the Lifetime movie tropes and then some.

It premieres this Sat. Jun. 20th at 8PM on Lifetime.

The Voice Cast of Pixar’s “The Good Dinosaur” Has Been Completely Replaced

June 15, 2015

(via Collider)

As Pixar is completely reworking the story, they had to get a new cast too.

Neil Patrick Harris, Bill Hader, Judy Greer, and more will no longer be the cast of the long-awaited non-sequel Pixar feature known as The Good Dinosaur. A new story that had to come from getting a new director (they ousted the original director Bob Peterson) required new dialogue to be recorded. That, in turn, needed a pretty much entirely new cast.

So, the cast of The Good Dinosaur will now include: Raymond Ochoa, Jeffrey Wright, Sam Elliott, Steve Zahn, Frances McDormand (only original cast member), and Anna Paquin.

Hopefully, our love dinosaurs based off Jurassic World’s record breaking weekend will stay the course with The Good Dinosaur when it comes out this Thanksgiving.

As an Amendment on The Use of Torture Is Coming Up For a Vote, John Oliver Talks Torture on “Last Week Tonight”

June 15, 2015
Uncategorized
amendment, executive order, helen mirren, last week tonight, mel gibson, obama, torture

Per usual, Oliver put his main segment on Last Week Tonight to good use by talking torture and its real life ineffectiveness. It’s especially timely as an amendment that would effectively put President Obama’s executive order regarding torture into law is up for a vote soon.

Of course, with the a reference to Mel Gibson movies and the use of Dame Helen Mirren’s lovely voice, Oliver makes it quite enjoyable and not at all like his subject matter.

Ever since it opened last year, we’ve been fascinated and thoroughly delighted with Moses Storm’s meta-comedy experimental art installation Modern Millennial.

We’ve been to the exhibit in its limited run and saw the exclusive screening of the documentary and we can only hope that more folks will get to experience what we got to see in some way, shape, or form.

For now, you can see the live performance exhibit that Moses set up in this video tour.

Not that you were thinking this or that anyone is saying this can’t be done, but a woman crying can be funny.

If there’s a real life Central Perk, this is a logical step for Hulu.

Over a week from now, Hulu will have an exhibition of a real apartment replicated after the one from Seinfeld as part of Hulu securing online streaming rights to every single episode of the legendary series starting Jun. 24th. Visitors will have a chance to look up close and around for a few days only.

To answer your question, you’ll also be able to slide into Jerry’s apartment like Kramer.

Colin Quinn Makes a Great Case For Feeling Jealous About Not Being on Law & Order

June 14, 2015
Uncategorized

Seriously, Colin Quinn should be on Law & Order. It probably wouldn’t be as weird that one time Stephen Colbert was on it.

Last night, Colin Quinn took The Tonight Show stage to do stand-up and focused on living in NYC for years while Law & Order has also been shot in NYC for years and somehow not being featured in the show. If anything, Cop Show should guarantee him something, but, alas, Quinn has to settle for being one of NYC’s funniest.

Off of those facts alone, you should watch latest special, Jeff Ross Roasts Criminals: Live at Brazos County Jail.

Also, watching Ross roast people not because they’re infamous rather than mostly famous is very enticing.

If you’ve been wondering what Colin Quinn has been up to, know that he’s been up to quite a bit.

He announced all of this during his latest appearance on The Daily Show.

Let’s hope that Quinn keeps this pace of projects going for quite some time from now.

As we’ve all had ample time to watch the clips from the final month of The Late Show with David Letterman, Letterman’s company Worldwide Pants, which retained rights to The Late Show, has apparently taken down any and all content from The Late Show that was online.

We can only hope this means that a big collector’s box set is coming or that they’ll be a Letterman version of Simpsons World.

Superego Has a Winner For Their Editing-One-Nearly-40 Minute-Sketch Contest

June 12, 2015

Earlier this year, one of the funniest podcasts around, Superego, revealed the existence of a sketch about scissor repairman that they had recorded that went nearly 40 minutes known as Stetch Maldonay.

They weren’t sure what to do with it due to its unwieldy length. So, they opted to have a contest to see if any of the Superego faithful would be able to make it into something that’s fit for their high quality brand of short form audio absurdity.

Well, months after the contest was announced, they’ve found a winner in a submission from one Blake Fawley, which you can hear here.

We’ve heard it and it definitely meets Superego standards. They’ve also found some runner-up winners as well that you can listen to here.

If there’s any takeaway here, you should just be listening to any and all of Superego.

They also hop around Chicago not only to get coffee, but some tasty looking barbecue as well.
