Often, the green room of a live comedy show is one of the best places to be, especially if you want that fly on the wall experience of comedians that are off-stage, but still sharp whilst riffing with their contemporaries.

Being stuck in quarantine, the idea of gathering is still a bit away from happening (even with just comedians). Yet, you can still get a bit of the green room experience this weekly starting this Thursday 4/30 with the In The Green Room live-stream.

Set to hang back in that proverbial/virtual green room is many of Avail Comedy‘s very best including

Comedians Include*
Chris Fairbanks
Gareth Reynolds
Greg Barris
James Fritz
Maggie Maye
Matt McCarthy
Megan Koester
Nick Flanagan
Paul Danke
Phoebe Bottoms
Ramin Nazer
Ryan Singer
Sara June

* based on quarantine availability

Rather than having the news on all day, it’d be much, much better to just hang with comedians hanging with other comedians. Tune in at youtube.com/availcomedy at 8PM PT/11PM

This Thursday, it will have been a year since Peacock started prancing around Club Tee Gee over in the lovely part of LA known as Atwater Village. In that time, it has quickly grown into a neatly packed and produced, tight stand-up show that has become a neighborhood (and LA) favorite on Thursday nights. Going for an entire year, especially when you’re maintaining a high quality show every week is incredibly difficult and deserves a nod of admiration (in person at this week’s show preferably)

So, join host Kiran Deol and a very, very special, extra stacked line-up all for the always nice price of a $5 suggested donation to celebrate Peacock’s One Year Anniversary.

Part 2: The Sequel Show, the show that has comedians pitching a yet-to-be-made sequel of their favorite movies, is making a return of its own for this holiday season, right when one of the biggest sequels (Star Wars) of the year is just hitting theaters.

The show is free, so don’t miss Tony Sam & Christina Catherine Martinez presenting an evening of sequels that definitely should be made.

Imagine Office Space as reimagined by David Fincher in a TV series and you might start getting on the level of the deliciously dark workplace comedy that is Jake Weisman, Matt Ingebretson, and Pat Bishop’s Corporate.

See for yourself in this trailer.

Then, after you’re of course hooked, you can treat yourself to watching four episodes that are now streaming for your convenience at CC.com here with cable subscription.

After all of that, mark down Wednesday, January 17th for the series premiere because, we’re guessing that, like us, you’ll want way more Corporate (just in the fictional TV sense anyway).

Blending a show and semi-fictional parties together, CleftClips’ Toasty allows comedians to give the toasts that they have always dreamed of. It’s one of our all time favorite shows and the line-up for the latest edition, as you can see above, is stellar.

Tickets are $20 (the venue is small, so they will be limited and you should get them sooner rather than later), and cocktail attire is required.

The non-stop delight that is Matt McCarthy loves wresting so much that he not only wrote an extended chunk on the virtues of being a pro wrestling fan, but he recorded a vinyl album just to have that bit shared with the world.

It’s funny, endearing, and definitely inspirational to those even casually into pro wrestling. If you’re looking for the perfect intersection of comedy and pro wrestling, this is it.

You can get Pro Wrestling Fan on colored vinyl for $8 off of Capsule Records here.

(via Splitsider)

So, 12 comics intros at live shows could potentially be, “You’ve seen our next comic on “Coming To The Stage”, coming to the stage…”

Dave Anthony, Matt McCarthy, Sara Schaefer, Ian Abramson, Rob O’Reilly, Jen D’Angelo, Rell Battle, James Davis, Jesse Popp, Benji Aflalo, Joe Sib, and Allen Strickland Williams make up 12 comics that will be hosted by Dan Levy in the new stand-up web series Coming To The Stage.

It’s a line-up you should definitely watch as featured in this trailer.

Comedy Dynamics caught some footage at the “hallowed” rooms of the Hollywood Hotel and Tribal Cafe showing that they searched everywhere they could for the best comics they could find.

Coming To The Stage is set for release online May 6th.

4) Matt Kirshen on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon

5) You almost have to forgive Pete Holmes as a doctor if you’re diagnosis is given like this…

6) Check out Rob O’Reilly and Barry Rothbart give Superman Brandon Routh his other kryptonite: annoying Domino’s surprise delivery people begging to try Domino’s new pizza.
