It’s hard to imagine anyone else bringing as much joy to people by being a grouch as Larry David.

Season 9 of his series Curb Your Enthusiasm is slated for its premiere on Sunday, October 1st at 10PM on HBO and, as this teaser shows, he’s pretty ready, once more, to be the charming stick in the mud that is the core of Curb.

Next year, Will Arnett will reprise his role as probably the most self-obsessed version of the caped crusader in voicing LEGO Batman for The LEGO Batman Movie.

As you can clearly see from this very first teaser trailer, this is clearly the most fun loving Batman we’ve seen in recent memory

Fortunately, this time around, we only have to wait a week until the premiere.

You could have a game show style wheel to pick one of the multitude of different things that James Franco does, but, in AOL’s case, he’s just getting a random classic scene from the cinematic canon from the same style of wheel and mashing it up with a genre or another classic film scene.

It’s called “Making a Scene” and it’s the reason that this pretty great, weird, mash up between Batman and Beetlejuice now exists.

With Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight out of commission and Ben Affleck as Batman, we can only hope that the new movie where Batman and Superman team up is anything like this Pete Holmes Show sketch.

In fact, just make a whole movie of this.

In this latest edition of the hilarious Batman parody by Front Page Films‘ Pete Holmes, Matt McCarthy, and Oren Brimer for College Humor, Batman goes against a Penguin played by special guest Patton Oswalt.

All of these are so great, maybe there should be a whole movie of them. Watch the ‘Badman’ latest now.

2) Because we don’t have the time or budget to even go down to San Diego, check out Laugh Button’s guide to comedy at Comic-Con!!!

3) Greg Proops & David Feldman go at it, interviewing each other, even after a taping of The Green Room with Paul Provenza.

4) Watch Josh Fadem go overboard on nerding out about Harry Potter on Conan.

5) If you told someone there was a comedy show on a rooftop, most would correctly assume it would probably take place in NYC, but LA’s now has it’s own rooftop comedy show, “It’s A Long Way Down”, and here’s the proof.

6) Puddin’-“Flowers” w/guest Laura Silverman
