Pixar’s Inside Out Has People Saying It Will Change The Way People Will Think About Thinking

A recent, detailed presentation of Pixar’s upcoming film Inside Out by director Pete Docter gave a deeper look into the film and its story. Those in attendance said that the way it portrays human thoughts and emotions and how they work, which, in this case, will be played by a team of animated characters voiced by Amy Poehler, Lewis Black, Bill Hader, Phyllis Smith, and Mindy Kaling, might offer some valuable insight into how we think and feel in real life.

This shouldn’t come as much of a surprise given how many people couldn’t but cry at the opening of Up.

Will Ferrell and Chad Smith Have Now Challenged Lars Ulrich to Drum-Off

The epic drum battle between Will Ferrell and The Red Hot Chili Peppers’ Chad Smith is now over with Ferrell and his cowbell as the victor, but, apparently, the drum wars are not.

According to an interview in Spin (linked above), Ferrell and Smith have set aside their differences and challenged Metallica drummer Lars Ulrich, who somehow gets mistaken for Chad and Will, to a drum off.

Ulrich hasn’t answered the challenge yet, but we can only hope that indeed does happen just to see what else Ferrell has in his cowbell.

Jerrod Carmichael Comedy To Get New Pilot At NBC

While they’ve passed on his first pilot, NBC is wisely keeping Jerrod Carmichael around for another pilot. We’re glad this is happening instead of letting him go to some other network like John Mulaney.

Hopefully, in this case, the saying will go, the second time is the charm.

Seth Rogen and James Franco team up yet again for an action packed comedy in The Interview coming out in October. This time, they’re not taking on drug cartels or the Apocalypse against all odds, but rather North Korea, also against all odds.

Rogen and Franco play spies who are attempting to take out North Korea’s Kim Jong Un which you can see here in the trailer.

This has us wondering if Franco and Rogen, as an action duo, will ever cross paths with the other popular action comedy duo right now, Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill.

Sacha Baron Cohen’s ‘Grimsby’ Adds Ian McShane, Gabourey Sidibe, More

Sacha Baron Cohen’s latest film, currently over at Sony, has just rounded out its cast with a good handful of dramatic actors in Ian McShane, David Harewood, and Gabourey Sidibe. Johnny Vegas will balance the scales a little bit being an English comedian, but the premise behind Grimsby seems dynamic enough to have this mix.

In Grimsby, Mark Strong plays a spy on the run that has to deal with his “football hooligan” brother played by Cohen, which definitely should be a fun duo to watch along with the rest of the supporting cast.

Renowned director Alejandro González Iñárritu is making his first foray into comedy here in the States with Birdman. The film follows an attempt by a former action star played by Michael Keaton to revive his career via Broadway. The rest of the cast includes Emma Stone, Zach Galifianakis, Edward Norton, Amy Ryan, and Andrea Riseborough.

This teaser trailer only gives a taste of what is to come, but the end is pretty satisfying and makes us want a little more and then some of Birdman.
