It shouldn’t come as a surprise that some of the craziest things said during field pieces on The Daily Show were said by people who so staunchly believed those crazy things that they don’t feel like they were misconstrued by the show’s editorial team at all.
So, as Jon Stewart is finishing his run this week, The Daily Show’s Jessica Williams follows up with a number of these folks who are very much the same people when they first went on the show.
