As John Oliver is filling in for Jon Stewart over at The Daily Show for the summer, Oliver is deadly terrified of what may happen and thus looking for any advice. While on Letterman last night, Oliver got Letterman’s advice on how to avoid talking about a movie while promoting it, which was pretty great.

In a related story, Brian Williams made a sincere gesture to Jon Stewart last night on The Daily Show to not let this “Oliver Twist” guy take over at the top and end of the interview.

The very funny Will Weldon has started a new web series, “One Night Man”, where he gives us more clear picture of what someone is thinking during a one night stand by letting us hear the thoughts of someone going through it, even when the one night stand goes horribly awry (come to think of it, isn’t that what always happens?)

Either way, it’s hilarious, dark, and worth watching now.

Andy Kindler did a set on The Late Show with David Letterman last night and we’re so happy the rest of the country got to learn Kindler’s comedy formulas chunk as well as his transitions bits, and a third comedy technique that you’ll just have to watch the set to see.

All comedy 101 aside, it’s good to see someone finally get fun and loose on Letterman.
