It would be fun if McHale brought a bunch of clips a la The Soup to his night as host of the WHC Dinner.

Howard Stern Tries to Make Jerry Seinfeld Uncomfortable on Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee

Jerry Seinfeld and Howard Stern take a Pontiac GTO out on this episode of Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee and Stern takes the interview more into his territory by asking Seinfeld tougher questions than what’s usually shot back and forth on the show with the guests.

Also, the Acura ads in this are probably the funniest ones thus far. Watch the episode at the link.

Gary Sanchez Productions Launches Women-Focused Gloria Sanchez Productions

Will Ferrell, Adam McKay and Chris Henchy’s Gary Sanchez Productions has just launched Gloria Sanchez Productions that will be keyed in on making female centric film and television.
There are plenty of directions that this could go in, many of which could be not unlike what Amy Poehler’s been doing recently with Broad City and her overall deal at NBC. We’re curious to see if this might possibly mean that Gary Sanchez could lean more towards testosterone fueled projects as a result.

Greta Gerwig to Star In CBS Spin-Off Pilot of How I Met Your Mother

How I Met Your Dad, a spin off of CBS hit sitcom How I Met Your Mother, will indeed star as well as be produced and even written by indie comedy darling Greta Gerwig.

No word on whether they will have her dancing and a few episodes tastefully done in black and white, but if this gets picked up with her current level on involvement, this could be great.

Rob Lowe’s tennis comedy pilot The Pro at NBC just keeps getting better. First, Rob Riggle is playing opposite of Lowe and now, the very funny Colton Dunn (who we would hope you know from Key & Peele or even rapping next to Eddie Pepitone on Arsenio) has joined the cast.

We really want to see this get picked up now.

Yep, The President of Dumb Starbucks Is/Was Nathan Fielder

Indeed, there was a “Dumb Starbucks” that was open for about two days on Hillhurst Ave. in Los Feliz here in LA. It wasn’t sanctioned in any way by Starbucks, but that didn’t matter because it was operating as a parody.

That being said, Nathan Fielder, of course, was behind this whole gag, but, due to not having a proper permits to serve food, Dumb Starbucks is currently shut down.

Take note all marketing firms/ad agencies: this was way better than a teaser/trailer for the next season of Nathan For You.

In fact, many of these folks deserve a hour special, but we’ll settle for seeing them doing 22 min. on TV for now.

Fred Armisen To Lead House Band at Late Night With Seth Meyers

Well, Late Night with Seth Meyers just got a whole lot more fun. There was a lot of speculation as to what Meyers would do with Late Night in terms of music, especially since Jimmy Fallon did so many musical bits and had the roots. Some said that he might not even have a band.

Armisen could be a nice comedic balance for Meyers not unlike when Fred would do characters on SNL’s Weekend Update.
