While many of you are probably very familiar with the voice of Tina Belcher on Bob’s Burgers, Dan Mintz is also one of the master practitioners of deadpan one-liner jokes these days.
See for yourself from his latest set from last night’s Late Night with Seth Meyers.
2017 might just be Hasan Minhaj’s year. In addition to his stellar WHCD performance, he has an hour special coming out.
From solo show to The Moth to Off-Broadway to touring around the country, Hasan Minhaj’s Homecoming King has been not only a great hour of comedy, but an incredibly relevant story that he has gotten to share.
Now, Homecoming King will be presented as a comedy special on Netflix very soon, starting Tuesday May 23rd.

It has been six years since Norm’s last special “Me Doing Stand-Up” in addition to a long and illustrious career of being the delightfully clever, yet subtle rascal spanning decades. Still, Norm finds way to stick to being Norm and still be refreshing.
Norm has pretty much always stuck to his particular brand of refined silliness always honing more and more over the years. His latest special “Hitler’s Dog, Gossip and Trickery” is exactly what you’d expect from Norm, but completely satisfying and still surprising in its layers.
See for yourself as it it just started streaming on Netflix yesterday.

Tracy Morgan goes full 70s with his attire in this latest special “Staying Alive” and wears it pretty damn well.

Conan is one of the few late night shows that not only features stand-up, but often lets comedians tell a story, which often ends up being a pretty fantastic.
Joe List’s story of him and his teeth is one of those stories. Watch it, from last week’s Conan, here.
Cuck returns for its second go around this Friday having the host watch their jokes performed by other comedians in front of them. That’s on top of an already very solid stand-up show.

This is Jesse Popp’s sophomore album and it has become clear that he has a knack for hiding the seams of his bits.
On, “I Am The Best”, just released this week off of Capsule Records, Popp shows off what it is to make great, succinct observational comedy in 2017. He delivered his jokes in such a casual, low key manner that the comedic twist is often more surprising than it would be with any other sort of cadence or delivery.
So, get I Am The Best off of iTunes here.
This is a great line-up of LA’s best and brightest. Also, some of the best views in LA are to be had on hills in Echo Park and should have your interest peaked.

Calm, collected, and just a tad eccentric, Sarah Tollemache got to make her debut doing stand-up on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert last night.
Please enjoy it here.
If the title of this special refers to what we think it refers to, you guys are in for one hell of a story somewhere in Al Madrigal’s new special.
So, catch the premiere of Al Madrigal: Shrimpin’ Ain’t Easy at 9PM tonight on Showtime.
Since launching our experience on Airbnb, the “Comedy Bureau Ride Along”, we’ve had guests from here in the U.S. as well as the U.K. and the Middle East.
Their thoughts on the experience:
“Jake was an amazing host, it was great hanging out with a local comedian and having a glimpse at the standup comedy community in LA. I would definitely book this experience again!”
“Expert guidance from a local celebrity. Jake will be able to answer any question you throw at him, and pretty much guarantees you a good time. Highly recommended.”
Both gave five out of five stars.
Honestly, it’s been quite the privilege to share the LA comedy scene with folks from around the globe that might have not gotten to see it otherwise.
Oh, by the way, we’ve got dates available if you want to book an evening with us.
It’s been almost 6 years since Norm Macdonald’s last special, Me Doing Stand-Up.
Macdonald, as you probably know by now, likes to take his time to craft his bits and the wait is really worth it.
Fortunately, next Tuesday, on May 9th, you’ll get his latest hour “Hitler’s Dog, Gossip & Trickery” streaming on Netflix.
Over the years, Maria Bamford has done comedy specials in theaters and in her house in front of her parents. However, she hasn’t done both in the same special until now.
In fact, Old Baby, her new special that is now streaming on Netflix, shows Maria doing stand-up in front of a bench, at a movie theater, at a bowling alley, in a nice, big theater in DTLA, and more.
All of this, as far as we can see, lines up with Maria’s life-affirming comedy as it is bringing people from all walks of life, literally, together to enjoy Maria’s expert repertoire of characters and brilliant comedic distillation of her world view, farts and all.
Go enjoy Old Baby now and you just might feel better about the world for a little while.

Earlier this year, Jerrod Carmichael’s 2nd HBO stand-up special, 8, premiered and offered up the unique hour that we always knew Jerrod was capable of.
Bo Burnham also brings a great look and rhythm (there are a lots of great dramatic pauses) as he joined on as the director for 8.
If you don’t have HBO in any way, shape, or form, you can now download a copy from Google Play to enjoy 8.
In fact, we’ve got a digital copy to give away to our loyal readers. E-mail thecomedybureau@gmail.com to enter to win.
By now, thanks to some viral posts and memes, you’ve probably heard of the general concept of a doppelgänger.
Yet, have you seen, or even heard a case of real life doppelgänger? We’re going to bet probably not (or if you have, it’s probably a stretch).
In any case, you should catch the doppelgänger voices of comedians Jackie Kashian and Ophira Eisenberg this week co-doing this “Vocal Doppelgänger” show at Nerdmelt.

Backyards, theaters, book stores, bowling alleys, and living rooms, with or without a stage, are where Maria Bamford brings her comedy to the people.
She takes the idea of “stand-up” quite literally in the trailer for her latest special, Old Baby, coming to Netflix. As you can see, there is almost no place that Maria can and will spread her life-affirming humor to.
Her special starts streaming next week on Tuesday, May 2nd on Netflix.

To all subscribers of Seeso, Amazon Prime, and Apple TV, you now get the expressed privilege of having access to a brand new comedy special from Brent Weinbach, one of the best weirdos in comedy.
