Adam Reed’s having a good day.

Not only will Archer creator Adam Reed’s beloved espionage comedy Archer get three more seasons, putting them at 10 total, Reed has also gotten an overall deal to develop and produce other projects at FX.

So, even if Archer might come to an end before the end of 2020, you can bet that Reed will probably have something as offbeat and fun on either FX or FXx to take its place.

Just as the Kardashians are sticking around, The Bellacourts aren’t going anywhere either.

Another Period, Natasha Leggero and Riki Lindhome’s series based on real turn-of-the-century opulence is going to keep showing off the 1% of the 1900s being as wasteful as they can possibly be for a 3rd season at Comedy Central.

Season 2 doesn’t premiere until next month on June 15th, but the renewal just got announced today, which hopefully means Comedy Central knows something really great about season 2 that the rest of us don’t.

Netflix Renew Bill Burr’s F Is For Family for a Second Season

Bill Burr’s suspicions that his darkly comedic stories from his childhood would be better served in an animated series seem to be well founded.

It shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone now that Netflix is continuing the stable of critically acclaimed comedy they’ve got going.

Still, Bill Burr’s animated series F Is For Family getting a second season is something to celebrate with a plethora of expletives.

Man Seeking Woman Getting a 3rd Season at FXx

Man Seeking Woman is yet another comedy that has quietly given FXx a formidable comedy line-up.

Though you might have not been aware, Man Seeking Woman has been looking as fantastical as ever in taking metaphors and similes often used to describe the experiences of coming of age and making them into very literal experiences (ex. an actual graduation ceremony for buying a better beer).

The surrealism has played quite well for the series creator Simon Rich as he has just got an order for a third season to premiere in 2017. In the meantime, you might to watch/rewatch episodes over at Hulu.

So far, the new TBS is into renewing early and we like it.

On top of getting see the series pilot for free on TBS’ YouTube page, The Detour just got picked up for another season before its series premiere next Monday.

With the extension of Full Frontal with Samantha Bee announced earlier this week, you can expect TBS to be in the Jason Jones/Sam Bee business for awhile.

Smart move, TBS.

Full Frontal with Samantha Bee hit the ground running as the latest addition to the late night world. Bee’s take-no-prisoners humor that breaks down current issues every week has garnered a solid viewership, especially online (as we’re sure you’ve seen the clips or gif set of her segments posted several places in your social media feeds).

So, TBS has picked up Full Frontal to the end of the year.

That will continue the great Sun-Mon. Daily Show with Jon Stewart alum combo of Last Week Tonight with John Oliver and Full Frontal with Samantha Bee that we’ve all got to enjoy.

Of course the CW would renew their Golden Globe winning block of comedy.

The CW renewed all of its current series, which gives Crazy Ex-Girlfriend its second season and Jane The Virgin a third.

It took awhile, but CW has definitely seemed to got their comedy slate on track.

Nathan for You has been renewed for a 4th season. Thank you everyone for the rad support. Don’t miss our big S3 finale tonight!

                                                             –@nathanfielder

Of this arguable golden era of Comedy Central, Nathan For You is definitely one of their most brilliant shows going right now. So, a 4th season seemed pretty much inevitable and the announcement of it seemed to be kept in the pocket for tonight’s season 3 finale at 10PM tonight on Comedy Central.

Either way, we’ll be excited to see how and what Nathan will pull of a season 4 of the show.

That’s right, Bob’s Burgers is getting a seventh and eighth season over at Fox and continues the veritable animation empire that Fox has been having for well over a score of years now with The Simpsons, Family Guy, etc.

Now we’re curious if this means there could be more burgers for another Bob’s Burgers cookbook.

We thought this would happen a lot sooner.

While not on a broadcast or a premium cable network or FX or Netflix or Amazon, The Jim Gaffigan Show has been faring quite well at its home on TV Land.

So, it’s going to get another season from the network and we’ll get to see more of Michael Ian Black get to throw some great shade at Jim for several more episodes.

DIFFICULT PEOPLE has just been picked up for a second season!!! Thanks @hulu and to all the difficult people who are watching!!! Woohoo!!!

Julie Klausner and Billy Eichner will return for a second season to cast judgment on whoever falls within their gaze as Hulu has re-upped Difficult People for a second season.

Duos that are best described by the title of this show like Jimmy and Gretchen on You’re The Worst seem to be really in right now and we like it that way.

If you’ve thoroughly enjoyed the craziness of the gilded age family, The Bellacourts, you’ll be overjoyed to know that Comedy Central has ordered another season of Another Period.

You’ll get to spend a whole other season with them and their ridiculously wealthy ways that make Jay Gatsby look like a saint.

This season of BoJack Horseman didn’t even have to wait until folks got around to the middle to start getting heaps of critical praise.

Since it’s release, season 2 of BoJack has gotten plenty of love and, as a result, the order for the next season came quickly as well.

Today, Netflix announced that a third season of BoJack Horseman will be coming in 2016.

Luckily, you’ve only binge watched the first two seasons only a few times by now and can watch them over a few more times, right?

@midnight with Chris Hardwick will be rounding off Comedy Central’s late night line-up for a good while to come.

Comedy Central has just renewed it for a third season, which means, later in the fall and through to next year, you’ll probably be watching The Daily Show with Trevor Noah, The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore, and @midnight with Chris Hardwick.

Here’s more proof that Episodes has been flying quietly and delightfully under the radar.

Though cable comedies like Louie and Girls get way more press, Episodes on Showtime has also found its way to a fifth season. They’ve manage to do a Hollywood biz comedy starring Matt LeBlanc a la Curb Your Enthusiasm and The Comeback without imitating and coming at it from a different angle.

Look for nine episodes of Episodes in this next season and boost in its profile, probably, when Showtime launches its standalone streaming service.

NBC Orders The Next Season of “Undateable” And All The Episodes Will Be Done Live

Apparently, NBC is really in love with doing stuff live these days.

The Sound of Music, Peter Pan, and SNL have served NBC well as live-to-air shows. Now, Undateable will join that class as the entire next season will air live. Of all the series orders and renewals that were just announced, Undateable Live is one of the most intriguing.

This should provide for plenty more hijinks from the cast and way more present laughter than canned laughter as well as encourage people to tune in primetime rather than watch it some time later.

We certainly hope that, as it’s live, Ron Funches milks every moment of great weirdness that he can.

James Franco’s Weirdo Mash-Up Series “Making a Scene” Is Getting a Second Season at AOL

We’re hoping that they’ll get weirder.

Amidst the dozens of things that James Franco juggles, his Making a Scene web series on AOL was one of the stranger, funnier things that Franco’s done. Genres, famous movies, characters, etc. were all mashed up to produce a scene with Batman and Beetlejuice or the diner scene from When Harry Met Sally except that Harry is meeting is Harry.

For the second season, fans will get to submit their favorite scenes from TV shows and they’ll go mashing up from there.

Something in the neighborhood of Breaking Bad and Arrested Development would definitely be fun to see.

Amy Schumer may be calling 2015 the year of the ass, but it’s turning out to be more of her year.

While Inside Amy Schumer is gearing up for the premiere of its 3rd season tonight following a Peabody Award win, the news broke right before Amy’s appearance on Letterman that Comedy Central was ordering a 4th season of the show.

Of course, she broke the news during her chat with Dave.

So, while you’ll have to tune in at 10:30PM tonight on Comedy Central for the season premiere, this 3rd season is probably off to the best start that it could possibly have.

For those of that you don’t have an HBO subscription, HBO Now looks even more tempting, doesn’t it?

For those of you that had thought that John Oliver was going to possibly leave Last Week Tonight to replace Jon Stewart later this year at The Daily Show, you obviously aren’t aware of how good Oliver has it over at HBO and how much HBO is into Oliver.

Today, that was all made clear by HBO announcing that two 35 episode seasons of Last Week Tonight have been ordered that will air in 2016 and 2017 separately.

Aside from possibly narrowing your list on who is coming to The Daily Show desk, rejoice in the fact that will have almost three more years of Oliver at his own desk doing stuff like this week’s takedown of Big Tobacco.

(via Deadline)

The top notch parody of reality TV continues in the Burning Love/Hotwives vein as Hulu has just ordered up another season of Hotwives of Orlando.

In a similar fashion to the way The Real Wives franchise, their source material, has spread itself out, Las Vegas will be the new site of this second season of Hotwives. The cast from season 1 will also not be returning, but we’re sure they’ll get a cast that’s just as stellar as Casey Wilson, Kristen Schaal, Tymberlee Hill, Angela Kinsey, Andrea Savage, Danielle Schneider, Matt Besser, Seth Morris, and more.

UPDATE: Original Hotwives set to return.

We now wonder if the Hotwives universe and Burning Love universe will ever cross.

The fourth season of Girls hasn’t even premiered yet and HBO is already going ahead with ordering a fifth season from Lena Dunham.

They’re getting a seventh and final season at FXx, which is news perfectly punctuated by Paul Scheer’s hashtag #7Years2Networks549DickJokes.
