Since IFC has really hit its stride over the last few years in their rebranding of their cable network towards comedy with Portlandia, Comedy Bang! Bang!, Maron, and more, they would be remiss if they didn’t have an outlet to regularly produce content online.

So, they fixed that with their new Comedy Crib, which will feature videos and series from the likes of UCB and Above Average.

One such series is Clickbait Overload where UCB challenges their very own to produce a clickbait video in 6 hours from a random topic and genre.

It’s pretty fun. Watch the first episode here and get into the rest of IFC’s Comedy Crib here.

The mysterious Boca Raton, FL grandmother Gigi that gave us weather reports the best way we have ever gotten weather reports is now moving on up in the world.

IFC has officially ordered a presentation of David Krumholtz’s Gigi following her going through her bucket list. It should come as no surprise that presentation is coming from a company called Grandma’s House Entertainment.

Looks like the universe listened when we wished for Gigi to do more than just tell us the weather then a bunch of other stuff that only an old Grandma residing in Florida would tell you.

While certainly out there in the far reaches of the bizarre, we couldn’t help but double over in laughter all throughout Quentin Dupieux‘s Wrong and Wrong Cops.

So, naturally, we’re excited for his next film Reality, which has just been acquired by IFC Midnight, like Wrong Cops, for release.

Eric Wareheim, John Heder, Alain Chabat, Elodie Bouchez, “a mysterious VHS”, an “imaginary skin disease”, and more that are in “Reality” seems to be the ingredients for another mind-bending fun romp from Dupieux.

Watch a clip of it and see what we’re talking about here.

We’d say that, by now, comedy has worked out for IFC. So, they’re now beefing up their development slate for this upcoming pilot season with a new scripted project from Denis Leary’s company Apostle.

Following with Apostle’s success with Maron at the network, the project, Uncle Chubby, follows the path of an intramural hockey team in an attempt to win a league title.

No talent is currently attached, but hopefully Liev Schrieber’s character from Goon can make a cameo.

IFC is giving a third season to Maron based on the life of Marc Maron and his podcast WTF with Marc Maron. The season premiere is set for sometime in spring next year, but WTF will be continuing on if you need that to fill in that gap of time.

Perhaps, they’ll have an episode that’s based on Marc interviewing director Kevin MacDonald when he was expecting Kids in the Hall’s Kevin McDonald.

IFC’s biggest series are getting into production for their latest seasons and, of course, they have quite the guest star list.

Pitchfork reports that a nice roster of bands will be featured on Comedy Bang! Bang! including The National, Lonely Island, Future Islands, and The Flaming Lips. Presumably, there will be some great jamming between them and Comedy Bang! Bang’s band leader Reggie Watts.

Splitsider has found through Carrie Brownstein’s Instagram that Natasha Lyonne, Jeff Goldblum, and Jane Lynch, amongst others will join Fred Armisen and Carrie in Portlandia.

So, we can’t wait for the premiere of either of these.

While the Bunny Ranch is known as the most famous brothel in Nevada, Rabbit Hole would follow the second most famous brothel. What that in mind, this could be like Reno 911 is to Cops, but to Cathouse.

Carrie Brownstein has made waves in the comedy world ever since the debut of Portlandia on IFC. Now, her talents are being tapped elsewhere as she has just set to adapt the UK series Lost in Austen into a movie.

Having someone in Brooklyn be transported into the world of Jane Austen is definitely within Brownstein’s wheelhouse and we’re excited to see what she comes up with.

So, this does count as our 2nd post about an adaptation of something based on the works of Jane Austen today and we can only hope that they’re both as enjoyable as Austenland.

While they may be not alike, they’re fun when stuck together.

Being the ringleader behind Comedy Bang! Bang! and Between Two Ferns, Scott Aukerman has had his fair share of chaos to deal with.

He stopped by Late Night with Seth Meyers to talk on the working parts behind Comedy Bang! Bang! and the extent of planning that goes into each episode as well as what the experience was like having POTUS Barack Obama on Between Two Ferns or, as Obama initially called it, Two Ferns.

Leave it to Marc Maron’s day off to pester a doctor to get an MRI because Maron thinks he has cancer.

Marc told that story on Late Night with Seth Meyers as well as what he does to get going in the morning in place of coffee, which is, appropriately enough for Marc, more complicated and intense than a cup of coffee.

Sounds like an episode recap of a pretty great episode of his IFC series Maron.

IFC Orders Sequel to ‘Spoils of Babylon’, ‘The Spoils Before Dying’

Will Ferrell will again don a fedora and a giant beard as Eric Jonrosh to bring another tale of America’s past that’s wonderfully ridiculous as IFC has just ordered a follow up to the Spoils of Babylon mini series.

The cast has yet to be set for The Spoils Before Dying, but they’ll undoubtedly get an amazing ensemble cast like they did the first time. The loose description seems to be much more noir-ish than Spoils of Babylon.

Summer 2015, when this will premiere, can’t come soon enough.

Armando Iannucci, Mike Schur, Jenji Kohan, Mike Judge, Jenni Konner, Chuck Lorre, and Marc Maron Have a Fascinating Chat

The Hollywood Reporter gathered together comedy showrunners Mike Schur from Parks and Recreation, Jenji Kohan from Orange Is The New Black, Mike Judge from SIlicon Valley, Armando Iannucci from Veep, Jenni Konner from Girls, Chuck Lorre from Two and Half Men (and so many more), and Marc Maron from Maron to chat for awhile about being a showrunner for a comedy series in 2014.

The results are pretty intriguing and enlightening. At one point, due to the modifier asking the entire group a number questions that they qualified with an exemption of Lorre’s shows, Chuck Lorre asked, “What am I doing here?”
