HBO Go Launches on PlayStation 3
Hopefully, none of you chucked your PS3 for PS4’s too quickly as HBO GO is now available via your PS3. You can watch your favorite HBO comedies such as GIrls or Veep via your gaming console of probably the last few years.
Don’t get too excited though as you can’t just sign up for HBO Go on your PS3 without a subscription just yet because, well, actually, we don’t really know.
While on Late Night with Seth Meyers last night, Mike Birbiglia recounted a time in his life where people used to tell him that he looked like James Van Der Beek.

Hannibal Buress’ New Comedy Special to Premiere at SXSW
Just in case you had any doubts about checking out comedy at SXSW and you shouldn’t) Hannibal Buress is premiering his brand new comedy special Live From Chicago.
For perspective, that would be good enough to catch a whole festival for.
In lieu of the blue material that pervades The Pete Holmes Show, Pete Holmes has opted to have a balance for the show in comedian/Pete Holmes Show writer Nate Fernald, dressed in an oversized blazer and bowtie, telling nice, clean jokes albeit in probably the most condescending way you can tell nice, clean jokes.

Fred Savage to Direct/Executive Produce Garfunkel & Oates IFC Series
In case you haven’t heard the news by now, Fred Savage, likely better known to you as Kevin Arnold from seminal 90s series The Wonder Years, will be director and executive producer for the whole series of Garfunkel and Oates at IFC slated to debut this summer.
Whether it happens or not, we know that you’re imagining Garfunkel & Oates covering, possibly parodying Joe Cocker’s With a Little Help From My Friends.

Archer Getting Two More Seasons at FXx
With how tight networks keep their leashes on their shows, it’s surprising to hear that a show will even get renewed much less get an order for two seasons.
That’s how good Archer on FXx is and hopefully they’ll make it to double digit season territory not too far from now.
’@midnight with Chris Hardwick’ has been doing so well that they’re getting a daytime spin-off series called “@midday” on the OWN Network hosted by Hardwick doppelganger Chad Softwick.
It’s either that or Will Ferrell wanted do something pretty damn great on ’@midnight’ last night. Watch it here.

Vimeo Pledges $10 Million to Fund Indie Film Projects on Its Internet VOD Platform
As you read above, Vimeo is pushing forward with $10 million to encourage their own content in the ever burgeoning hosting online video content.
Hopefully, this goes to a bunch of promising indie comedies that otherwise wouldn’t get greenlit from a studio because of any number reasons (usually they can’t A-list talent attached).

Paul F. Tompkins to Star in ABC Family Comedy
Paul F. Tompkins anywhere is worth your time to watch, but we’re glad to hear that America will have a chance to catch Tompkins on a network sitcom.
So, hopefully, ABC will bring this to airing sooner rather than later.
‘Bob’s Burgers’ To Come Out With Music Compilation Album
For all the songs they’ve done on the show, Fox’s Bob’s Burgers is making a smart move by putting an album together featuring all those said songs.
