Whether you’re a frequent TCB reader or not, you’re probably aware of Honest Trailers, the oft-celebrated, hugely popular parody web series run by Screen Junkies. Beyond Honest Trailers, Screen Junkies itself has become an online destination for a very fun, specific brand of movie/TV based humor and discussion through several different series and web videos they produce on a regular basis.

Recently, Andy Signore, who created both Screen Junkies and Honest Trailers, was fired after several allegations of sexual harassment and assault were made by women who came forward like many women who have come forward to take down Harvey Weinstein and men like him over the last several weeks.

The staff at Screen Junkies took some time off, understandably so, to take necessary action following Andy’s firing and discuss how they want to move forward with Screen Junkies sans Andy in making it better, safer, more inclusive, and less divisive.

Here’s an address from Screen Junkies’ Dan Murrell, Roth Cornet, Spencer Gilbert, Joe Starr, and Hal Rudnick.

For years, Screen Junkies has amassed a gigantic fan base with their various series including Honest Trailers.

With over a billion views of their YouTube channel and nearly 5 million subscribers, they’re not only getting expanded, but also having that expansion be for subscribers.

That’s right. A YouTube channel that is focused on a comedic breakdown of movies and TV from every angle possible is getting its own subscription streaming service.

Screen Junkies Plus will offer several new series with all of your favorite Screen Junkies pundits including a scripted show “Interns of F.I.E.L.D., a show that imagines after credits scenes for movies that don’t have them, another one that ponders how certain movies hold up years after its theatrical release, and much much more exclusive content/swag/etc.

If you’re already hooked in, Screen Junkies Plus launches next week on Nov. 17th for $4.99 per month.

Of course, there’s a trailer with epic movie voice guy for this announcement.
