The buddy party movie The Nest with Tina Fey and Amy Poehler will be coming around next Christmas time, just in case you were making your Christmas lists for this year already.
Don’t worry, Fey and Poehler will have hosted The Golden Globes again in case you were worried that you weren’t going to enough of them both in your life before then.

Amy Poehler and Tina Fey are at it yet again by co-starring in an upcoming film, The Nest. It’s a year between every Golden Globes and we don’t think the general public or the world really wants to wait that long for the two to join forces once more.
Poehler and Fey would probably do more stuff together but they both have network overall deals as well as starring in a bunch of other projects, left and right.

It’s safe to say that most of us want to see this.
Tonight’s is offering up more than a solid block of TV comedy with the comedy partners of the moment Amy Poehler and Tina Fey back hosting The Golden Globes live at 8PM EST/5PM PST on NBC, which leaves more than enough time on the West coast to catch the premiere of Season 3 of Girls on HBO at 10PM.
We’d say plan accordingly, but it looks like we have already done that for you.
Tina Fey/Robert Carlock Comedy Gets Pilot Order From Fox
Well, a pilot order is nice as a Christmas gift, but how about most, if not all, of Tina Fey/Robert Carlock’s projects in development at various networks go to series (they already have one at NBC)?
There aren’t really any stops that Jerry Seinfeld can’t seemingly pull for his web series Comedians in Coffee Getting Coffee, but this trailer for season 3 of the coolest hang out sessions with some of Jerry’s funniest friends might be the best yet.
Patton Oswalt gets to ride in a DeLorean, Howard Stern and Jerry almost look like they’re having an episode of Seinfeld, Tina Fey joins Jerry even though she doesn’t drive, Louis C.K. takes Jerry on his boat, and much much more.
Oh yeah, there are drones for some reason as well.

Tina Fey stopped by Late Night Jimmy Fallon last night leading up to her hosting the season premiere of SNL and she couldn’t be more wonderful of a parent, especially for how geeky her kids are and how she addresses an apparent nip slip from the Emmys to all of America on late night television in a family friendly way.

Tina Fey, Amy Poehler and Maya Rudolph to Honor Carol Burnett for Mark Twain Prize for Humor
Happening next month, The Mark Twain Prize for Humor will be presented to Carol Burnett at The Kennedy Center in a grand ceremony with the likes of Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, Maya Rudolph, Rashida Jones, and more commemorating the occasion. If you can get in, try watching it live on Oct. 20th, but, if not, just catch it when it airs near Thanksgiving.
The art form of comedy and how illusive being at any good at is sometimes begs the question if comedy is in any sort of DNA. We don’t have an exact answer to that, but it will be interesting to see if Tina Fey’s daughter Penelope might offer some insight into that.
We’re only basing that observation on the bizarre, sociopathic tendencies that Tina brought up during her appearance on Letterman this week (at the very least, they could make for some funny stories). Watch the clip of the Letterman interview here.

It must not be a shock to anyone that Tina Fey was going to rest on the many laurels gained from 30 Rock after the series ended, but it’s amazing that she just sold a series to NBC with Robert Carlock, and now, has several networks interested another project all in one week.
We’re really looking forward to see what comes of all of this during pilot season.

30 Rock’s Tina Fey & Robert Carlock being involved in another series at NBC was only a matter of time as it was the obvious move for NBC to keep them both on.
In fact, was anyone timing how long since all the way from when 30 Rock’s series finale ended to now? Whatever that comes out to, it was probably too long.

3) With an endorsement from Kate Micucci and this review, Re-Animator the Musical, might be something to catch at the Steve Allen Theater soon. It may not be the Human Centipede musical, but why the f*$# would you want to see that?
