The latest edition of Comedy Central’s The Half Hour is serving up half hour specials from Emily Heller and Erik Bergstrom.
It kicks off at midnight with Heller’s special followed by Bergstrom right after.
You can a great sample of what you got on your Comedy Central stand-up plate this evening with Heller’s bit on her evolution as a weirdo and Bergstrom, along the same lines, detailing how he can be a cool dude.
Here, comedians are challenged to try doing jokes while one of many challenges including anything from singing their jokes to not being allowed to say “the” or “uh”. Odds are that’ll get their adrenaline pumping, hence the name.

Austin based comedian Eric Krug has just released his first comedy album, Double Speak, off of Austin based comedy record label, Sure Thing Records.
Over a well-crafted hour, Krug does himself (and comedy out of ATX) proud. What we specifically dig about the album is how dark the album opens, his observations from being a veteran from this millennium, and Eric’s fascination with presidential history.
It’s a good reason for you to remember Krug’s name and pay attention to Austin’s comedy scene.

This week’s edition of Comedy Central’s The Half Hour will feature the comedy stylings of Ali Saddiq and Cy Amundson, making for a night of very pointed observational comedy.

Even though Mary Mack dissects what deeply gets on her nerves, she does so with undeniable Midwestern charm. You can’t help but feel delighted at what makes her mad.
This set on last night’s Conan shows this off perfectly as well as include some very rare, but great riffing in the middle of a late night set.

Doug Stanhope’s latest stand-up special No Place Like Home is definitely one that we’re impressed that Seeso landed.
From the looks of this preview clip, where Stanhope dissects the concept of poverty, you should definitely be glad you have/get Seeso to watch it.
No Place Like Home starts streaming on September 15th at Seeso.
One of LA comedy’s favorite sons, Eric Dadourian, is going to the East Coast for a spell. Before he leaves, he’s of course being sent off with a show.
This Saturday, September 17th at 9PM, come to the Lotto Grotto (an actual grotto at a house in Echo Park) and enjoy Eric one more time before switching coasts for awhile.

This weekend of Comedy Central’s The Half Hour will be one that will be definitely full of tomfoolery and we can’t wait.
Aparna Nancherla’s special is at 12AM and Nate Fernald’s is right after at 12:30AM on Comedy Central.
We guess it was inevitable that all the channels that once played music videos most of the time were going to get into original comedy programming, right?
Fuse is getting into the comedy game with their brand new show Uproarious that will mix stand-up and sketch, probably a little differently than Adam DeVine’s House Party. One Jimmy Tatro will host the show that will feature the likes of such comedy stylings that we enjoy from Jesus Trejo, Emma Willmann, and Janelle James.
Look for the series premiere of Uproarious on Fuse starting Friday, October 7th at 11PM.

More specifically, Joe Machi’s half hour special is at 12AM and Drew Michael’s follows right after at 12:30AM.

Brent Sullivan has been very keenly described as a smooth operator when it comes to doing stand-up. He also has sharp, cutting material that juxtaposes quite nicely with that slick delivery.
His very first set on Conan was a solid exhibition all of that and you can see so for yourself here.

From the get go up until the present (and probably far after), David Cross’ stand-up has been treading on, for certain folks, very controversial territory that has had certain network censors and audience members go awry.
During this most recent Conan appearance, Cross details what got cut out from his very first set, over 20 years ago, on network TV on Late Night with Conan O’Brien and the way that a small number of audience members, in 2016, walk out of his shows now.
When it comes to doing a set on late night, one of the best comedians to execute air tight, well-crafted sets is Tommy Johnagin.
His latest late night set on The Late Late Show shows just why that is.

The amazing Jackie Kashian is prepping for her next album and will thusly be running said album everyday from Tuesday, August 30th to Friday, September 2nd at The Clubhouse, 1607 N. Vermont, Los Angeles, CA (Next to Jons) at 4PM.

Doug Stanhope Next Special “No Place Like Home” Is Coming to Seeso Next Month
In a year where Doug Stanhope is getting really personal (check out his book Digging Up Mother: A Love Story), Stanhope made sure that his latest special was literally close to home.
That’s right, this latest special No Place Like Home was shot in Bisbee, AZ where Doug currently resides.
You won’t have to wait long before you can see it as it is slated to premiere and stream on Seeso on September 15th (You do have Seeso, by now, right?).
