‘Tracey Ullman’s Show’ Season 3 to Premiere on Sept. 28 on HBO
Quietly, Tracey Ullman has not only revived her doing sketch comedy under her own umbrella, but she has positioned herself to be one of the few places to watch sketch comedy on linear television that isn’t SNL right now (think about it–there won’t be any more new Portlandia coming soon).
Tracey’s Ullman’s Show is currently nominated for an Emmy, which probably bodes very well for the future of the show on the premium cable network.
Given how Atlanta has already won awards in its first two seasons on top of being one of TV”s most acclaimed comedies, Donald Glover is having a red hot 2018, renewing Atlanta for another season is a pretty sensible move by FX.
Riki Lindhome and Natasha Leggero’s Another Period is returning for its third season next month to emphatically show that America is still making the mistakes that it did nearly 100 years in the past in the package of a highly enjoyable, over-the-top, 30 min period piece sitcom.

On top of another quality FX series continuing on at the juggernaut cable network, reading the words “better things renewed” just feels good and makes us, even if for just a moment, hopeful.
With revenge seeming to be the theme of this season of Crazy Ex-Girlfriend (just look at the banner above), it seems like the series might take some of its darkest (but possibly most fun) twists and turns yet.
Remember, this was originally billed as as dark romantic comedy musical and what a perfect time to live up to that label.

Crazy Ex-Girlfriend Season 3 to Be a “Funny Fatal Attraction”
As has been the case since day 1 of Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, Rachel Bloom and Aline Brosh McKenna defy expectations at every turn and will do so yet again in the third season of their award winning CW series by focusing on Rebecca wanting to get revenge.
In fact, they’re going that direction to the point where they’re describing the season’s arc as the aforementioned “funny Fatal Attraction”. Maybe a Glenn Close cameo is on the horizon here?
We can’t wait to see what songs and dance numbers will compliment a darker edge to Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, especially if you know Bloom’s songs and music videos before she landed Crazy Ex-Girlfriend.
An integral part of the premiere episode of Rick and Morty season 3, as you might know, is McDonalds promotional Szechuan Sauce.
Well, after the livestreaming of the premiere on April Fools’ Day this year, it would seem McDonalds got in on the fun and sent this package to Rick and Morty co-creator Justin Roiland.
We can only imagine what other multinational companies will bend to the will of Rick and Morty season 3.

The Carmichael Show is a rare multi cam sitcom that is unafraid to dive into touchy territory and, as such, is a series where what is normally considered “a very special episode” is business as usual for them.

The critically acclaimed intercontinental dark romantic comedy, Catastrophe, is back for a third go and we can only hope that you’re as excited as we are to see how Rob Delaney and Sharon Horgan make a mess of things this time.
So, if you don’t have Amazon Prime already, three seasons of Catastrophe (plus Transparent and Fleabag amongst other things) would be a pretty good reason to sign on.
TBS Gives The Detour a Third Season
We’ll get to embark on yet another leg of the lives and times of The Parkers as TBS, today, has given an official renewal for season 3 to The Detour.
With that, husband and wife comedy power couple Jason Jones and Samantha Bee seem like the new Prom King and Queen of TBS.
Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt is now coming up to its 3rd season and looks to be as fun and clever as ever (and must still have NBC kicking itself that it let it go).

The lengths and depths of humanity that Forest MacNeil (Andy Daly) has been subjected to while doing two seasons of Review are beyond comprehension.
Yet, this trailer reveals a third and final season that somehow gets Forrest to go through the gauntlet yet again and put his life and the lives of others in plenty of danger for the sake of reviewing the “human experience”.
It is one of the best shows that Comedy Central has ever made.

Third and Final Season of “Review” to Premiere on March 16
Forrest MacNeil and his never ending quest to review “life” no matter how it ruins his life will have its final chapters starting Thursday, March 16th on Comedy Central.
This is without a doubt one of the best series that Comedy Central has made and Andy Daly gives Forrest a weirdly undeniable charm despite making pretty much nothing but awful decisions every step of the way.
