Jeffrey Tambor To Star In Jill Soloway’s Amazon Comedy Pilot ‘Trensparent’

Jeffrey Tambor seems to be getting in on the online series train as he was star of Amazon Studios’ Onion News Empire as well doing the Netflix season of Arrested Development (and probably another one) and now starring in Amazon’s latest comedy project, Jill Soloway’s ‘Trensparent’

John Mulaney’s NBC Comedy Pilot Isn’t Dead Yet As Fox Orders New Script

One of the most hotly talked about pilots this past pilot season, and probably the most shocking when it didn’t get picked up, was John Mulaney’s pilot over at NBC. Not only featuring one of the funniest people in comedy right now in John Mulaney, the pilot had a star studded cast with the likes of Elliot Gould, Martin Short, and more.

Thankfully, Fox is interested and the project still has hope, though we hope it stays live action instead of becoming part of Fox’s arsenal of animated comedies.

Reggie Watts Cast in Comedy Central Pilot ‘Bad Advice From My Brother’ Pilot

Already being on Comedy Bang Bang coming out this Summer, here’s another chance for us to see the amazing Reggie Watts on TV. Well, if you’re in Australia or the UK, you’ve probably seen him doing Set List, but we hope we can all see more of Reggie on television/tele.

Steve Agee To Be Diablo Cody’s Side Kick and Writer for Talk Show Pilot at TBS

TBS has been picking a lot of interesting projects to develop as of late and Diablo Cody’s talk show pilot just got a whole lot more intriguing with Steve Agee signing on as a sidekick. If there’s anyone that could make a Vine short film work on TV, it’d be Agee.

No More Co-Starring For Judy Greer As She’s Cast in FX Comedy Pilot

The delightful Judy Greer that you’ve enjoyed in anything from Arrested Development to Jeff Who Lives at Home and plenty more as a supporting actress (she’s writing a whole book about it) is finally getting a starring role in a FX comedy pilot.

We’re very intrigued to see what this will come to be.

The Duplass Brothers Are Getting an HBO Pilot

The Duplass Brothers have definitely made a name for themselves in the indie comedy film world and Mark Duplass has been killing it on his own acting (check Safety Not Guaranteed if you have your doubts). This seems to be the perfect meeting of both worlds.

At some point recently, Kyle Kinane was pitching a show where he traveled across this great land of ours and finding all the fascinating folks/possibly misrepresented subcultures that populate it. That show was “Kyle Kinane’s Going Nowhere”, which, unfortunately didn’t get picked up.

Watch the pilot presentation for yourself where Kinane is dressed up in BDSM wear, goes to meet a wizard, and hope this gets made into a show someplace soon.

Good move A+E.
