SXSW To Have Panels with Seth Meyers, Portlandia, Pete Holmes, and More
The soon to be newly minted Late Night with Seth Meyers as well as the still brand spanking new Pete Holmes Show as well as Portlandia will all be making an appearance at SXSW this year in panel form.
That means that this is only the tip of the iceberg and you should probably get a badge ASAP before this happens in March.
TBS Renews The Pete Holmes Show for 13 Weeks
Many of you we were wondering what the word was on The Pete Holmes Show when it went on hiatus last year.
Luckily, the word is “renewal”.
The Pete Holmes Show just got picked up for 13 more weeks and returns to TBS on Feb. 24th, incidentally (or not so incidentally) the same day as Late Night with Seth Meyers premieres.
The Pete Holmes Show is still currently on hiatus, but the magic from an interview/hang out between Pete Holmes and Ron Funches will, at the very least, make today or whatever day you watch this pretty great.

The awesome Moshe Kasher was on The Pete Holmes Show last night and broke down why the traditional ideas of sexual identities, especially in regards to stereotypes need to, as Pete Holmes would say, scram.

This series of sketches The Ex-Men where Pete Holmes, as Professor X, fires pointless X-Men at The Pete Holmes Show is really shaping up to be almost a stamp of the show.
Having Rory Scovel on The Pete Holmes Show only leaves room for the highest form of goofing off as opposed to a traditional interview and makes for a whole bunch of fun in taking forever to do a bit of Rory’s, slam cemeteries, and more that you won’t see during most other late night interviews save for maybe Ferguson or Conan.

Many of the sketches on The Pete Holmes Show have Pete as the worst something, despite it being, it’s own funny way, pretty damn great.

With Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight out of commission and Ben Affleck as Batman, we can only hope that the new movie where Batman and Superman team up is anything like this Pete Holmes Show sketch.

The Final Episode of ‘The Tonight Show with Jay Leno’ to Air February 6, 2014
So, as it stands right now, on Feb. 6th next year, Jay Leno will step down from The Tonight Show, then The Tonight Show will move to New York City with its new host Jimmy Fallon and Seth Meyers will take the reins to Late Night.
While that might seem momentous, don’t forget that The Arsenio Hall Show is coming back, Chris Hardwick is doing a late night talk show of sorts for Comedy Central, USA is developing a late night talk show with Will Ferrell, and Pete Holmes will be following Conan on TBS later this year.
Basically, late night’s going to get a whole lot more exciting really soon.
Nick Turner, Pete Holmes and James Adomian Do a Reggie Watts Impression in Front of Him
Musical comedian Reggie Watts has been described as inimitable before, but leaves it to the likes of a hysterical trio composed of Nick Turner, Pete Holmes, and James Adomian to show Reggie how to do an impression of himself (not that Watts doesn’t already know how to do that).

So instead of having beef with various creative endeavors that call themselves “The Midnight Show”, Pete Holmes’ show that will follow Conan this fall, specifically Mon. Oct. 28th at MIDNIGHT at TBS, will be called The Pete Holmes Show.
