Pete Holmes Is Still the Worst Doctor
Many of the sketches on The Pete Holmes Show have Pete as the worst something, despite it being, it’s own funny way, pretty damn great.
Here’s Pete Holmes as definitely one of the worst doctors to Matt McCarthy.

ABC Orders UK’s ‘Bad Education’ Reboot Pilot To Be Written by Peter Huyck and Alex Gregory
ABC is taking UK series ‘Bad Education’ and adapting to U.S. audiences by way of having former King of The Hill writers Peter Huyck and Alex Gregory write a pilot.
With Chris Lilley’s Ja’mie at HBO, is this the start of a new sitcom trend set in schools?
‘The Jeselnik Offensive’ Has Been Cancelled
After Anthony Jeselnik commented that The Jeselnik Offensive wasn’t coming back on Comedy Central during The New York Comedy Festival, a representative has confirmed this.
So, for now, we’ll just have to go back to check Jeselnik’s Twitter for his take on whatever we’re supposed to be not joking about.
In the Why Would Eat That? Challenge style version of Spin The Bottle, there’s no kissing, just drinking naga chilli vodka, malort, etc. (i.e. some of the worst distilled spirits ever created)
Also, in this episode featuring awesome sketch group Dead Kevin, there were no chicks to make out with anyway, so just enjoy them ingesting bad decisions.
Dana Gould’s “I Know It’s Wrong” Now Available on iTunes
If you didn’t have Showtime or couldn’t catch it when it aired, you can now get Dana Gould’s latest hour long comedy special “I Know It’s Wrong” on iTunes as an album.
If you have the day off today (or at any time), this might be a good way to spend it.
Rob Huebel, Finesse Mitchell, Rachael Harris Join ‘Barely Lethal’
What could be feasibly as a “teen assassin coming-of-age comedy” in ‘Barely Lethal’ has peaked our interests with the addition of the likes of Rob Huebel, Finesse Mitchell, and Rachael Harris.
Let’s hope they get featured a bunch in the trailer.

Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland’s ‘Rick and Morty’ Premieres on Adult Swim on Dec. 2
The wait will be over even sooner than you think for Adult Swim’s latest animated series, Rick and Morty, from Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland.
All you have to do is make it through Thanksgiving and Black Friday and you’ll get to watch the highly anticipated cartoon (which you get a sneak preview next week at Largo if you’re in LA) that will have plenty of people making side-by-side .gifs with Back to the Future for having been partially inspired by it.
That’s right, the long standing horse track in Santa Anita let Conan O’Brien call a horse race even though he hasn’t really called any sporting event.
The result of course is pretty great, especially since his announcing of the race went beyond the track. Watch the clip here.
David Cross Will Guest Star In A New Dungeons And Dragons Episode Of ‘Community’
In case you don’t know, Dan Harmon is a dedicated fan of Dungeons and Dragons (he plays it live on his podcast Harmontown) and is bringing that together on this latest season of Community along with the likes of David Cross.
So, it looks like there will be plenty to look forward to this season of Community in terms of it going wherever it wants.
Kelly Hudson and Adult Swim brings us another hot episode of entertainment news/celebrity dish show Trash Heap that breaks down celebrities and their babies and the importance of that above absolutely everything else.
Watch the hilarious madness here.

Full Line-up and Schedule for Riot LA 2014
It looks like it’s going to be another fantastic round of Riot LA coming in Jan. 2014. Check out the plethora of great comedians (namely Todd Barry, Paul F. Tompkins, Morgan Murphy, Jimmy Pardo, Matt Jones, Chris Gethard, Sheng Wang, Erinn Hayes, Dana Gould, Carmen Lynch, Sean Patton, The Apple Sisters, Chris Garcia, Byron Bowers, Drennon Davis, Guy Branum, and much much more) and shows, many of which are staggered so you can get as much of your comedy festival fix as you need all within about a block of each other.
Key & Peele To Make Movie with Judd Apatow for Universal
The pieces have been set in place for Keegan Michael-Key and Jordan Peele to write and star in a movie in collaboration with Judd Apatow for Universal Pictures.
This only makes too much sense and we hope it hits screens soon, whatever it is.
Burning Love Season 2 Premieres on E! Tonight
Burning Love will back on the air as the expanded half hour episodes of Season 2 will premiere tonight on E! at 10:30PM.
Tune in whether you’ve seen the series before and are a diehard fan or haven’t seen any of it, just to watch June Diane Raphael as her version of “The Bachelorette”.
CC:Studios’ This Is Not Happening with Ari Shaffir is finally back and in this latest batch of episodes, they have fight stories, which brings Big Jay Oakerson to share the story of one of the biggest fights he’s ever seen.
By big, we do not mean a title fight or two rivals gangs fighting each other, but rather something more literal. Watch it here.
NBC Orders Maya Rudolph Variety Pilot For Post-Olympics Special
This means simultaneously, after The Olympics, Jimmy Fallon will take over The Tonight Show, Seth Meyers will take over Late Night, and Maya Rudolph will do a variety show special that hopefully, possibly could include her Prince cover band, Princess.
We’re hoping this will top whatever the closing ceremonies are.
In case you haven’t noticed, late night stand up sets are evolving into self-contained stories that don’t transition to anything. We personally think it’s great and are excited to see more than just the traditional set of “joke-joke-joke” (don’t get us wrong, that’s still great).
Still, Sean Patton’s story about his little brother’s “neuralizer” (yes, that device from Men In Black) is pretty amazing. Watch him tell it on Conan now.

If you pre-ordered it, then you have probably already gotten your copy, but, if not, then you can and should go pick up Rob Delaney’s new book Rob Delaney: Mother. Wife. Sister. Human. Warrior. Falcon. Yardstick. Turban. Cabbage. available now.

FXX’s ‘Totally Biased’ Cancelled, Last Show To Air Tonight
This is sad news for what was shaping up to be quite a show. We hope W. Kamau Bell as well as the staff of Hari Kondabolu, Dwayne Kennedy, Kevin Avery, Eliza Skinner, Aparna Nancherla, Guy Branum, Kevin Katoaka, Louis Katz, Frank Conniff and more will find another way to be on TV again because they were all pretty great.
Watch the last episode tonight at 11PM, so watch it if you happen to have FXx.
NBC Reviving ‘Last Comic Standing’ Again
NBC just doesn’t quite want to let go of the stand up comedy competition Last Comic Standing. The reason as to why, we’re not sure. Perhaps, they have some sort of graph that says that stand up has gotten significantly more popular in a target demographic over the last couple of years that Last Comic Standing went off the air or something.
Either way, we are excited to see it come back as the last season put James Adomian, Kurt Metzger, Myq Kaplan, Laurie Kilmartin, Tommy Johnagin, and more on national television.
Rich Vos talks his road to recovery from crack addiction, which he amazingly went cold turkey from decades ago, in this latest episode of Scott Moran’s Modern Comedian at PBS Digital and how that fuels his comedy and everything else in his life.
