Epix Set to Do Their Version of Talking Funny/Green Room with Bill Hader

HBO’s Girls to Return in Jan. 2013
The teaser at the link is playing it really close to the chest as to what might happen, but we’re just glad season 2 is returning relatively soon.
The Gorburger Show presented by Funny or Die puts TJ Miller behind a monstrous blue furred creature named Gorburger hosting a web series variety show where, we guess, he’ll try not to maul his guests before getting through a panel interview or music performance. The series is set to debut Mon. Sept. 24th and feature a new episode every Monday after.
Is anyone surprised that TJ Miller isn’t playing himself in a talk show? We’re not, but we’re still excited for the hysterical absurdity bound to happen.

It is really surprising to us that someone as hysterical as Jim Hamilton is only now having his late night TV debut. Still, we’re glad that it finally happened anyway on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon last night and while being absolutely Jim Hamilton (razor sharp jokes and looking around the stage in between them) Watch him kill it here.
YouTube’s Official Comedy felt they needed a presence during Fashion Week in NYC so they, of course, had the one and only Dave Hill hits the streets in his classiest get up for fashion humor so funny that few of the models he was interviewing got it.
The Obama-Romney debates will likely be filled with plenty of disappointment from both sides of the aisle and everything in between. Pacquiao and Mayweather Jr. will never happen. Luckily, Jon Stewart will debate Bill O’Reilly in an event being promoted as The Rumble.
It’s happening at the Lisner Auditorium Oct. 6th at George Washington University, but you can stream it at 8PM EST/5PM PST for $5.
Steve Martin: The Television Stuff is a real DVD box set just released through the Shout! Factory available for purchase. Featuring many of Martin’s most memorable bits that aired, it’s a whole new set of Steve Martin that we can get nostalgic about and laugh over and over at.
Set to happen Jan. 24th-Feb. 10th of 2013, one of the biggest comedy festivals in the world, SF Sketchfest, is now taking submissions. Anything from sketch groups, solo sketch/character performers, one-person shows, improv groups, short sketchy self-produced plays, alternative comedy acts, musical comedy acts, and stand up comedians can submit.
The early deadline is past, but you can still get in on the late deadline by Oct. 15th.
