One Night Only: An All-Star Celebrity Tribute to Don Rickles Premieres Tonight
At 9PM, Spike TV will be premiering it’s star studded tribute/roast to Mr. Warmth himself, Don Rickles. Not only are the likes of Jerry Seinfeld, Martin Scorsese, Jon Stewart, Robert DeNiro, and David Letterman there, but Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, Tracy Morgan, and more joined in the festivities.
Again, don’t miss out at 9PM on Spike TV.
Long time Conan staff writer and bit player, Matt O’Brien got his own farewell tribute from the show featuring some of his best performances during sketches.
Sid Caesar will hopefully not be unsung in 2014 and onwards as Mel Brooks and Conan O’Brien took several segments in remembering Sid’s wondrous comedy career last night on Conan.

There Will Be a Sid Caesar Tribute with Mel Brooks on Conan
Conan O’Brien had a few sentimental words on the passing of comedy legend Sid Caesar this week, but is now going one step further will a full on tribute with another comedy legend, Mel Brooks scheduled for next week.

Comedy legend Sid Caesar, whose name you might have been brought on so many comedy podcasts or you might be a thorough enough of a comedy nerd to know in 2014 or you might have actually seen in your youth, has passed away.
Conan O’Brien even took some time on Conan to pay tribute to Sid Caesar, citing him as an inspiration to do comedy.
So, if you’re unfamiliar, you should go look up Sid Caesar now.

13) Saw a “comic” point out noises instead of telling jokes or do ANYTHING because apparently we weren’t on board with his weirdness, which he didn’t approve of, and then cut and run right after his set. If he was trying to make sure that people won’t come to his shows where his name is on the bill, he’s doing a damn good job.
