Set to premiere at SXSW, The Harmontown documentary, which follows one of a few select podcasts that could pull off a nationwide tour as well putting together a feature length film on it, finally has a trailer.
Not only does it follow the podcast, but Dan Harmon’s personal journey with his fans, his creations, his battles, and everything else that has made him the trailblazing firebrand that he is.
Watch the trailer here at Nerdist’s YouTube Channel.
Richard Ayoade’s upcoming film The Double starring Jesse Eisenberg and Mia Wasikowska has been an object of curiosity for some time now for us as we’re getting a mysterious, bizarre, but kooky and funny vibe from what we’ve seen so far.
The full length trailer, that just dropped today, only further confirms this notion. Watch the trailer for The Double here.
You will have to wait until Sun. April 6th for the premiere of Mike Judge’s Silicon Valley with Thomas Middleditch, TJ Miller, Martin Starr, Kumail Nanjiani, and Zach Woods.
For now, here’s the trailer that you should watch now even you’ll be waiting awhile afterwards for the series premiere.
It’s just more great Andy Daly news today as the first trailer for his upcoming Comedy Central show Review premiering Thurs. Mar. 6th has just dropped. Andy Daly as Forest MacNeil will review life itself. Sound good? You bet it does.
The trailer certainly promises something great, so watch it now.
Billy Eichner running and screaming, Amy Poehler, Lena Dunham, Seth Meyers, bouncing, and more are all encompassed in this trailer for the latest season Billy on the Street. In other words, it’s what we were hoping for in new episodes of Billy on the Street and can’t wait until it premieres Mar. 12th 11PM on Fuse.
Seth MacFarlane’s A Million Ways to Die In The West just released a red band trailer and, basically, it’s a present day MacFarlane movie with Western costumes, which looks like it could be riotously funny.
B.J. Novak made a really great trailer for his upcoming collection of stories entitled One More Thing (available for pre-order now). It’s French New Wave, meta, and everything else that you’d want out of a book trailer.
Well, that’s what you should want out of a web video trailer for a book because it’s pretty funny.
This should be exciting to you for two reasons:
1) Alan Partridge starring Steve Coogan is coming to the U.S. on Apr. 4th (and VOD Feb. 27th)
and
2) You get to watch the trailer for Alan Partridge now, which, by the way is pretty great.
A dark coming of age comedy that jabs at young people trying to become poets is alright by us. Adult World not only shows that but seems to also have a John Cusack more along the lines of High Fidelity or even Being John Malkovich.
Watch the trailer for Adult World here.
Louis C.K. has been noted over the last few years with reinventing the wheel of media by selling his own comedy special on his website for $5, doing every job on his TV show that’s humanly possible along with getting final cut, etc.
His latest milestone will be selling a movie, shot in black and white, that he made partially on his own dime, Tomorrow Night, on his own website. He made this announcement last night on The Tonight Show and revealed that it never got distributed anywhere in 1998.
In 2014, black and white seems to no longer be a deal breaker for audiences and with all the acclaim that CK has gathered since 98, it’s probably a good time for this.
Here’s the trailer for Tomorrow Night; you might know a few people making cameos like Conan O’Brien or JB Smoove.
Today is apparently just coupled with season 3 of highly anticipated shows. Earlier, we had Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee and now it’s season 3 of Girls on HBO set to return Jan. 12th.
Watch the trailer for Girls here. Who knows? Maybe we’ll find a third one season 3 trailer and do that rule of three thing.
There’s so much mystery as to what’s happening in Richard Ayoade’s latest film The Double starring Jesse Eisenberg and Mia Wasikowska, but the trailers have only seem to be promising a really clever, dark, and existential comedy.
This new trailer is no different.
Here’s another fix if you’re jonesing for more from Wes Anderson’s upcoming film The Grand Budapest Hotel in a new trailer where we meet most of his routinely spectacular ensemble cast.
The line-up is so huge at The 13th Annual SF Sketchfest, it’s more than handy to have a trailer to conveniently present it to us all. Well, it presents most of the line-up anyway.
Also, the trailer they made was pretty great. Watch it now, then get your tickets.
We were pleasantly surprised by the 21 Jump Street reboot with Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum and have been looking forward to a sequel since we heard news of it going into production.
And now, after all of that, here’s the trailer for 22 Jump Street.
Jason Bateman’s upcoming Bad Words is another spelling bee movie, but thankfully done in a turn for more dark comedy as opposed to uplifting feel good movie.
Watch the trailer for Bad Words here.
After, well, everything that’s Community has been through, Community is back for its 5th season on Jan. 2nd on NBC.
This trailer is proof, for now, that it will happen, and, don’t forget about the hashtag #sixseasonsandamovie.
Again, we saw a preview of Adult Swim’s latest animated series Rick and Morty from Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland this week and it was fantastic.
Luckily, there’s this trailer to sort of back us up and get you excited to watch the series premiere on Dec. 2nd 10:30PM on Adult Swim.
We don’t know how long you think you’ve been waiting for the next season of HBO’s Girls, but know that we’ve all waiting the same time whether you think it’s relatively short or way too long.
With that said, here’s the trailer that’s been a long time coming for season 3 of Girls and it’ll make the premiere slated for next year seem like too long of a wait for how promising it looks.
While FXx is letting go of Totally Biased, it’s bringing on an animated series that’s giving the Eastbound & Down treatment to the rap game. ‘Chozen’.
Featuring the voices of Bobby Moynihan, Hannibal Buress, Method Man, Kathryn Hahn, and more, you should definitely give the trailer a watch. Chozen premieres Mon. Jan. 13th.
As you’ll see from the latest trailer for Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues, there must be a giant blooper reel for how much fun they’re all having.
Give it a watch here then just sit tight until its release on Dec. 20th.
Wes Anderson’s latest film The Grand Budapest Hotel is upon us, specifically Mar. 7th 2014, and has a trailer with all the familiar trappings of a Wes Anderson movie with familiar players/stellar cast, exquisite costumes and production design juxtaposed with a good degree of quirkiness, which is probably set to be another really great movie.
Watch Another Trailer for Season 3 of Eagleheart
November 14th is only getting closer, the day when Eagleheart returns to Adult Swim and this trailer featuring more blood as well as “Martin Sheen” makes Halloween seem slightly less important.
The first trailer for The Secret Life of Walter Mitty was pretty amazing, warranting excitement for the upcoming movie from Ben Stiller as well as second full length trailer.
Give a watch to more amazing visuals, the same uplifting songs, and more quotable quotes from Stiller.
