We’re going back into a wormhole with our show that cross dimensions of jokes, bits, meta jokes and bits, and even something deeper and more hilariously bizarre than that.

Once again, Wormhole is improv based on stand-up based on improv based on improvised stand-up.

Join us, Matt Kirshen, Pretty Pretty Pony, and Matt McCarthy on Tues. July 14th at Westside Comedy Theater at 9PM for the journey that will probably change your life, but will most certainly make you bust up with laughter.

It’s only $5 to strap in and go into the vast, undiscovered territory of deep(?) comedy. Get your tickets here.

Mark Normand has a great track record of doing stand-up on Conan. He marked his third appearance last night and, like his debut set, cruised down a row of applause breaks with jokes on gender roles, bathroom attendants, racism, and modes of transportation all nicely tied together.

James Corden has been hosting The Late Late Show for almost three months now and has waited to have his first stand-up comedian perform on the show, presumably to make it more special.

Well, Nick Thune made doubly sure, as the show’s first comedian to perform stand-up, that it would be unforgettably special.

Comedy Central Picks Up “Not Safe With Nikki Glaser” To Series And Orders a Nikki Glaser Hour Stand-Up Special

(via Deadline)

Comedy Central is wise to double down on getting into the Nikki Glaser business.

We were blindsided when Nikki & Sara Live got cancelled at MTV and also surprised that Nikki didn’t immediately get to delve right back into another TV show elsewhere.

Finally, Nikki is set to return with a brand new series “Not Safe with Nikki Glaser”, a panel show focusing on all things sex, and a new hour stand-up special all on Comedy Central. Look for the series and the special sometime next year.

We’re confident that Nikki will one up all the other attempts at a funny sex panel show on TV. We wonder if that will involve talking to people after they just had sex in something more exciting looking than a box.

Give My Big Break a listen as it’s now available from Comedy Dynamics on Amazon or iTunes

From that, he deftly explores the shades of black within the darker corners of comedy, especially when it comes to the more practical aspects of losing people that are close to you.
