We’ve been wondering what exactly IFC and Earwolf have been up to ever since that struck that TV production. Well, we’re glad to hear that a show starring the hysterical James Adomian and so many of his great characters is one of those projects, which, by the way, is long overdue.

Very few details are revealed in the teaser other than a promise of something astounding, but the anticipation of Will Ferrell doing a comedy mini-series over at IFC will undoubtedly grow over the next several months, especially since people like Kristen Wiig, Tim Robbins, Val Kilmer, Michael Sheen, and more will be in “The Spoils of Babylon” coming sometime in early 2014.

Given that Marc Maron’s brand new IFC series ‘Maron’ premieres tonight with an episode that wasn’t the one uploaded to YouTube and the very funny Dan Soder and Nikki Glaser’s half hour Comedy Central specials are premiering tonight, maybe you should stay in or don’t feel so bad for staying in if that’s your normal routine on Friday night.

The season premiere of Maron is at 10PM on IFC and The Half Hour season premiere is at 12AM on Comedy Central.

Last night, Marc Maron stopped by Late Night with Jimmy Fallon to promote his book “Attempting Normal” and his upcoming IFC show ‘Maron’. Apparently, getting Michael Keaton on WTF was initially easier, then much harder than one would think. 

Also, Marc breaks down the comedians pitching TV show process pretty nicely.

Marc Maron’s book “Attempting Normal” is out in bookstores today as well as Maron making an appearance on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon this evening (NBC 12:35AM). Those are in addition to the premiere of his IFC series ‘Maron’ starting this Friday at 10PM.
