Eric Andre and Lil’ Rel Prank Movie ‘Bad Trip’ Set for Oct. 25th Release
Eric Andre along with Lil’ Rel and Eric Andre Show director Kitao Sakurai have made a feature length prank movie that will come out right before Halloween.
Effectively, it’ll be The Eric Andre Show: The Movie (with Lil’ Rel instead of Hannibal Buress), right?
We’ll be curious to see a teaser of just exactly what they got away with.
This will be a rally in support of Charter Amendment B that aims to help LA defund wall street so we can build affordable housing & renewable energy with a public bank! If intrigued, you can learn more here.
The Defundraiser will also be an event that features the likes of Eric Andre and James Adomian as Bernie Sanders just a stone’s throw away from Los Angeles City Hall.

Accomplished and darkly hilarious multi-hyphenate Jena Friedman is getting to do a “human interest” comedy special at and Eric Andre returns to Adult Swim next month.
We hope that you’d know Jena from her great last special/album “American C*nt” or her plethora of work that includes Letterman, The Daily Show, and so much more. If you do, you’d probably know that this special will very likely be as sharp and biting as anything satirical on television.
Odds are that you’ve seen Eric Andre (or at least a .GIF of him) destroying one of his many desks on The Eric Andre Show. Essentially, Eric will do what he’s been doing in the U.S. on his show, but in Paris, France
So, don’t miss them.
This seems like a great balance between letting chaos reign millennial style with Derrick Beckles and Eric Andre leaning into their particular brand of comedy madness and Jena Friedman getting another special to say exactly what the f she wants to say.
We’re excited to see both, even though they’ll probably be on either ends of some sort of spectrum.

FXx to Cancel “Man Seeking Woman” After Season 3
One of the most imaginative shows on television unfortunately will come to a close after the conclusion of its current season.
If you haven’t gotten into Simon Rich’s Man Seeking Woman, you can stream it on Hulu. We highly recommend to do so.
When you think of Michael Bolton doing a TV special for Valentine’s Day, there are a certain set of images that come to mind.

Over two seasons, the conceit of Jay Baruchel and his wild, alternate realities born from the perils of relationships in Man Seeking Woman have gelled into something charming, clever, and intriguing.

Comedians and actors Nick Kroll, Stephen Colbert, Conan O’Brien, Ryan Reynolds, Eric Andre, and Mike O’Brien are all pretty much straight as far as we know.

Yes, this really happened.
You have got to give credit to Larry King for not being really thrown off by Eric Andre, who wavers between sincere and facetious, during the entire interview as well as taking up the challenge of being a guest on The Eric Andre Show.
It’s simultaneously one of Eric’s most calm interviews (as mentioned above he doesn’t get naked or destroy anything) and one of his most interesting (Eric talks in a seemingly sincere manner about killing himself on stage and Larry goes with it).
Now, we can only wait to see if Larry King makes good on that accepted invitation to The Eric Andre Show.
The madness, chaos, abstraction, and utter absurdity of the talk show format that is The Eric Andre Show all return for season 4 on Adult Swim tonight at midnight.
If his RNC/DNC appearances and Rapper Warrior Ninja are any indicator, you should definitely be strapping yourself in for one hell of a season yet again.
Well, since his press credentials were revoked from what The Eric Andre Show pulled at the RNC, Eric Andre and crew went near the Democratic National Convention and were desperate to do anything to get press credentials.
Still, Andre managed to do his thing near the DNC and, at least, got to cause the disruption they were looking for.
While Adult Swim reaches a specific audiences, it’s kind of amazing to think that any actual guest that goes on The Eric Andre Show wouldn’t know what they’re in for.
Yet, this teaser for the latest season shows that is very much the case and that the same bombastic, absurdist comedy the show is known for will keep on rolling.
Look for the season 4 premiere of The Eric Andre Show on Friday, August 5th at midnight on Adult Swim.
Everyone in comedy seems to be focused on or actually in Cleveland for the Republican National Convention.
That includes Adult Swim’s own meta talk show parody mad man Eric Andre.
Andre went through the RNC and conducted himself with business as usual in being as absurd as possible. Such highlights of Eric’s visit include actually interrupting controversial radio host Alex Jones during a speech and introducing convention goers to “Peppercorn Bing Bong”.
Note how this all seems less crazy than Trump, Giuliani’s speech, Chris Christie’s “guilty” chant, etc.

Eric Andre pulls some pretty unbelievable stunts on his eponymous Adult Swim show. So, you can imagine the notes of what he can and can’t do from Standards and Practices are pretty outrageous as well.

Man Seeking Woman takes the idea that you would need grit like some hardened detective on a police procedural in order to confidently ask someone out, in person no less, and makes into a reality, complete with all the police procedural trappings.
The conceit of FXx’s Man Seeking Woman is that all the metaphors that people compare every aspect of love, dating, marriage, relationships, etc. actually come to life making for some pretty trippy scenes that really resonate with folks.
Season 2, while it has a new arc with the main character Josh, is making good on that dynamic, which will include a horny Santa.
