Even after years of being off the air, the American version of The Office still endures as millions of people’s favorite comedy that they will rewatch again and again.

So, the idea that The Office stars Angela Kinsey and Jenna Fischer would want to recap the series and share insider details seems like a home run. Indeed, Office Ladies, their recently launched podcast on Earwolf, does just that. They’ve just dropped their first episode recapping the pilot and, from listening to it, it’s clear that if you love The Office at all, you’ll very easily want to subscribe and so many already have. The love that Kinsey and Fischer have for the show (and for each other) makes for a sort of warm, nostalgic, quilted blanket that features so many details that you might have not noticed until they told you about it.

So, get into Office Ladies here or wherever you listen to your favorite podcasts.

Conan O’Brien arrived into the wide world of podcasting with Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend and hit the ground running. Getting to hear a Conan without the worry of network censors or having to cut segments short has been truly engrossing (as well as further confirming that Conan can find the funny in nearly any situation) and instantly a hit.

Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend, after some time off (so O’Brien could go to Greenland and such), is finally coming back this Mon., Oct. 7th and you can look forward to perking your ears up for a great row of guests including Paul Rudd, Ellen DeGeneres, David Letterman and Tina Fey.

If you haven’t gotten into Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend, now would be great time to binge listen and catch up.

The “Get Rich Nick” Podcast Both Investigates Actual Ideas to Get Money Quick and Is Delightful Along the Way

Nick Vatterott and Nick Turner, both mastered in their on-stage silliness as comedians, take a serious turn, albeit a slight one, for their new podcast Get Rich Nick.

Each episode has both Nicks legitimately try out different methods of making money real quick, taking whatever consequences and mishaps come along their way (so you don’t have to!). Throughout, Nick and Nick maintain a level of goofiness to have Get Rich Nick be funny while discovering something like donating plasma isn’t all that it’s cracked up to be. Other episodes cover betting on racehorses and doing TaskRabbit and have been very enjoyable journeys thus far.

They’re just a few episodes in, but Get Rich Nick is definitely worth an early subscribe. Please do so here or wherever you listen to your podcasts.

“How Did This Get Played?” Is Really Worth Listening to No Matter How You Feel About Video Games

Hosts Heather Anne Campbell and Nick Wiger, as a sort of sacrifice for humanity, have subjected themselves to playing the worst video games of all time (many of which that deserve to be buried in sand more than the infamous video game of adaptation of E.T.) to bring you very satisfying hour of dissecting just how truly bad these games are on the new podcast How Did This Get Played?.

Sure, it’s a Sisyphean task for Heather, Nick, producer Matt Apodaca, and a weekly guest, but the anguish that every one of these video games cause is a pretty great bit of dark, existential humor, especially since you can often feel the rancor they have for having to revisiting these beyond-the-bottom-of-the-bargain-bin games. Such titles include Leisure Suit Larry, Michael Jackson’s Moonwalker, Superman 64, and so much more (yeah, there are so many bad video games). You can be a hardcore gamer or barely interested in video games and we’re will to bet that How Did This Get Played? would make for a really good listen.

The name of this podcast, derived from the beloved movie podcast How Did This Get Made?, definitely had a high bar to reach, but most certainly delivers on ripping apart those best/worst video games.

Episodes for How Did This Get Played? drop weekly from Earwolf.

Team Coco has really picked up their game in 2019. Already, there’s a streamlined version of the show, Conan has started an already successful podcast with Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend, and now, they’re launching another new podcast, Inside Conan: An Important Hollywood Podcast, helmed by veteran Conan writers Mike Sweeney and Jessie Gaskell.

For those of you that want to nerd out about how the inner machinations of the show’s shenanigans really work, Sweeney and Gaskell not only give you gossip from backstage, but talk about sketches (which happen to be some of the best on TV), both aired and cut, as well as interview other Conan staffers about making the long running tomfoolery at Conan really work.

Also, they will be conducting an ongoing investigation as to what the infamous Associate Producer Jordan Schlansky actually does at the show.

Pretty swell, huh? Sounds to us like you should subscribe and get on board early for this one. Do so here.

While there a streamlining of Conan over at TBS that will debut in January, there will still be plenty of Conan to have in your life over the next few months.

One of those things will be a podcast with open conversations between O’Brien and guests in an attempt to get to know them outside of the pre-arranged stories they’ve done on his show for a quarter century and maybe, just maybe, make a new friend. If anything, it’ll probably allow to be Conan O’Brien that we enjoy the most, which is a Conan O’Brien with as little boundaries as possible.

Episodes will start dropping soon, but you can listen to a trailer and subscribe over at Earwolf here.

What a way to end a week of cancellations/endings.

One of the longer running podcasts at Earwolf, Professor Blastoff, is coming to an end after 217 episodes. This is the latest end of a comedy series in a week filled with the cancellations of HAPPYish, China, IL, and The Comedians as well as the announcement that this current season will be the final season of Key & Peele.

While it’s sad to see this podcast go, it’s great that Professor Blastoff’s crew is doing quite well in their own right. Tig Notaro has her stand-up really taking off, David Huntsberger has his own show to host on Syfy, Reactor, and Kyle Dunnigan is part of the Emmy nominated staff of Inside Amy Schumer.

If you’re looking for another podcast that wonderfully intersects science and comedy, may we suggest Probably Science.

Before Playing House, many of you were well acquainted with Jessica St. Clair as the intern frequently featured at Comedy Bang! Bang! known as Marissa Wompler.

As with many interns in this business, they move on up and get a show, though it’s usually something else besides a podcast broadcast from a library.

St. Clair is now reunited with her Playing House co-star Lennon Parham, though in character as Wompler and Lennon as Charlotte Listler, a teacher/former sniper/co-host for a new podcast at Earwolf, WOMP IT UP! .

The going-ons of Marina Del Rey High, at least the one that exists in the CBB universe, is the focus here and with St. Clair and Parham at the helm, it’ll be a damn fun ride.

As that’s the case, podcast giant Earwolf has printed a special Comedy Bang! Bang! T-shirt with the Harris credo “Motherf*ckers Just Wanna Laugh”.

You can pre-order the shirt for $20 and all proceeds will go to a scholarship that has been set up in memory of Harris. While you’re rewatching all of Parks and Recreation or listening to old episodes of Comedy Bang! Bang! or Analyzing Phish, this is another pretty nice way of remembering Harris.

Rather than taking on hosting duties of a new podcast and leading new conversations within the same arena, Lauren Lapkus is making herself just a guest of her own podcast on Earwolf, “With Special Guest Lauren Lapkus”, where she’ll have guests host whatever “podcast” they choose.

For instance, this first episode has Lauren in character as a guest on Paul F. Tompkins one-off podcast Public Domain. We’re hooked on the idea alone and we’ll be listening to this before we’re even going to try to catch up with the rest of you with Serial.
