Watch Rory Scovel on Conan and Cameron Esposito on Ferguson Tonight

Two of our favorite comedians to watch right now that America will hopefully know from far and wide are performing tonight on your television (and probably tomorrow on whatever device you watch YouTube on).

Rory Scovel will be back again on Conan (TBS 11PM), which is always fantastic, and the terrific Cameron Esposito will be on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson (CBS 12:35AM) making her late night stand up debut.

In short, don’t miss these.

We’re really glad that Baron Vaughn got to share the perfect balance he’s struck between silliness, being very insightful, and really funny with The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson audience last night.

Watch his wonderful set on Ferguson here.

It’s great to see that The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson is having more stand up featured as of late and done by really funny people as well.

Check out this latest set from Hugh Moore that aired this week as proof.

Cristela Alonzo’s Notches Another Great Late Night Set on Craig Ferguson

Honestly, we can’t figure out why CBS didn’t post the very funny Cristela Alonzo’s stand-up set from The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson this week on their official YouTube page as it was pretty great.

So watch and enjoy it, while you still can we suppose, at the link above.

Marc Maron Got To Be on Letterman and Ferguson Last Night

June 28, 2013
Uncategorized

Go figure that the last place that would probably pick up a series like Maron, CBS, would end up having Marc Maron on both The Late Show with David Letterman and The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson on the same night. Still, Maron’s great talking on interviewing Mel Brooks and Carl Reiner for WTF and his recent engagement to his soon to be 3rd wife.

Watch him on Letterman here and on Ferguson here. Oh the finale of Maron is on tonight at IFC at 10PM, so you should watch that too.

Craig Ferguson is a very funny Scottish comedian and Dylan Moran is a very funny Irish comedian and, apparently, when they meet on late night, they discuss the pointlessness of reading a Stephen King book. That’s a stereotype, right?

Watch the whole interview here.

Barry Rothbart Racks Up Another Late Night Set by Doing Ferguson

Not that anyone has really thought of the late night stand-up equivalent of an EGOT (someone winning an Emmy, Golden Globe, Oscar, and a Tony), but the damn funny Barry Rothbart is coming close with having done Conan, The Tonight Show, and, just last night, The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson. Unfortunately, none of the possible acronyms for such a thing have enough vowels and are short enough to catch on.

Watch Barry’s great set from Ferguson here.

Myq Kaplan Returns to The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson

It’s good to see and hear Myq Kaplan doing stand-up once again on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson after being bumped a few weeks ago. Sometimes, guests do go too long and it’s just happenstance why we’ll have to wait to see Kaplan do another nice late night set.

So, Craig Ferguson, Host of The Late Late Show, Is Putting Out a Stand-Up Special on Netflix

Uncategorized

First off, we’re thrilled to hear that hilarious person, Craig Ferguson, is releasing a stand-up special, I’m Here to Help, on Mar. 15th on Netflix.

Secondly, this is amazing, considering that no other late night host currently has put out a stand-up special in recent memory (they’re busy doing that late night tv show hosting thing, you know). Yes, we know Jimmy Fallon put out an award winning comedy album of songs, but that’s not a stand-up special.

1) The Nerdist TV Special will air on BBC America Sat. Sept. 24th 10PM. Of course, they couldn’t just let a Yank be on the BBC by himself…

2) Henry Phillips makes “french toast” and it’s amazing.

3) Paul Danke’s takes us down memory lane/the Back 2 School aisle.

4) Marc Maron picks his five comics to watch, which is vastly different from Variety’s Top 10 Comics to Watch.

5) Though some of this might seem obvious, apparently, it’s not; Connected Comedy tells comedians what not to do on Facebook.

6) Wonder what an elite improv class is like? Take an inside look into Matt Besser’s Master Class… (this is where you’re supposed to say “yes and…”)
