Matt Ingebretson, who we feature a lot here, has put together an entire collection of short form pieces from some of the funniest people currently in and around Los Angeles for The Impolite: A Collection of Comedic Lit From LA.

Those people include such comedy folks as:

Megan Amram, Nathan Buckley, Eric Dadourian, Raj Desai, Emily Heller, Karen Kilgariff, Megan Koester, Yassir Lester, Aparna Nancherla, Eddie Pepitone, Sean Tejaratchi, Amber Tozer, David Venhuizen, Patrick Walsh, Jay Weingarten, Jake Weisman, Nick Wiger, and Allen Strickland Williams.

The book has everything from “…high-concept humor to idiotic poetry to a detailed factual account of how Cash Money Records caused a rift between a step-father and his son,” says Ingebretson.

So, with all of that being said, we suggest taking $10 and spending on it buying and enjoying “The Impolite”.

‘Bob’s Burgers’ To Come Out With Music Compilation Album

For all the songs they’ve done on the show, Fox’s Bob’s Burgers is making a smart move by putting an album together featuring all those said songs.

We can only hope that this St. Vincent cameo/song will be on there.

The Grawlix, one of Denver’s best comedy shows, just celebrated their 3 year anniversary and, in honor of that, put out a compilation album Best of the Grawlix 2013.

Not only does it feature the great comedic stylings of The Grawlix themselves (Adam Cayton-Holland, Ben Roy, and Andrew Orvedahl), but also features performances from other people you probably love like TJ Miller, The Sklar Brothers, Brent Weinbach, Jonah Ray, Beth Stelling, Chris Garcia, John Roy, and more.

As if that wasn’t enough, this album is also free to download meaning you can legally download it for free instead of doing it the shady way. So, get to listening to The Best of The Grawlix 2013 right now.
