Here’s the Trailer for Angie Tribeca Season 4, Which Will Be Doing a Marathon of All S4 Episodes This Weekend

It is more important than ever to have some abject, pure silliness in our lives (it has been that way for the last 3 years to be honest).

Thus, the creation and continuation of probably the prestige silly sitcom series on TV, Angie Tribeca is very, very important.

Lucky for us, you, and anyone else that isn’t covered by that binary, season 4 of Angie Tribeca is starting tonight. In fact, TBS is doing a marathon of all the new episodes with eps. 1-5 playing tonight and eps. 6-10 playing on Sunday (at 8PM on both nights).

You can see for yourself in the trailer that this new season of Angie Tribeca has even more top level wordplay and sight gags up its sleeves, shirt, and other weirder places it’ll hide things.

It’s about time Beth Stelling got her own show.

The fantastic Beth Stelling now has her own web series where she can fire off late night monologue style jokes behind her own desk. The desk may not be inside a studio or in front a live audience, but that really doesn’t get in the way of how damn funny Beth is.

Once a network that you primarily just knew for Conan, TBS is looking to start anew in this ever changing landscape of TV, especially when it comes to comedy.

So, with the likes of an entire new line-up of shows including the Steve and Nancy Carell’s Angie Tribeca, Jason Jones’ The Detour, People of Earth from Conaco, Full Frontal with Samantha Bee, Search Party from Charles Rogers and Sarah Violet Bliss (the duo behind Fort Tilden), and Wrecked.

From the looks of this trailer that rundowns this new line-up, they might have a good shot at finding a new niche.

Not only is TBS is changing up their programming and branding, they’re also thinking outside the box with their actual schedule.

The long wait for TBS’ police procedural comedy Angie Tribeca starring Rashida Jones will have not been in vain.

Come Sun. Jan. 17th at 9PM and going to Mon. Jan. 18th at 10PM, the entire first season will air five times in a row, back-to-back-to-back-to-back-to-back.

The following Monday, Jan. 25th, at 9:30PM, will see the premiere of season 2 of Angie Tribeca and amount to a total of twenty episodes between both seasons in the span of an entire TV season.

We’re not making this up as you can clearly see by this TBS promo.

There’s has been plenty of build up over the last several months to TBS’ slapstick cop comedy Angie Tribeca including a trailer.

It’s set to premiere in the summer, but with David Koechner and Amy Smart coming into the series and Ground Floor getting the axe, we wouldn’t have any problem with the series premiering next week.

In a TV world beset by old school multi-cam sitcoms and dramadies, Angie Tribeca seems like it’ll be a breath of fresh air, especially with Koechner playing a police commissioner.

We were wondering what happened with this pilot formerly known as Tribeca because, just from the folks involved Steve and Nany Carell as well as Rashida Jones and the spare details available, it still sounded pretty great.

Angie Tribeca is set for a ten episode run at TBS next year.
