Adult Swim revealed a trailer for the highly mysterious, but intriguing Mike Tyson Mysteries at Comic Con earlier this year.
So, it’s only fitting that their next trailer came out at NY Comic Con last week.
Yes, to answer your question, there’s more wonderfully juxtaposed absurdity in addition to Norm MacDonald voicing a pigeon.
While the majority of your TV watching probably comes by the way of your DVR or an online streaming service, it might be well worth your time to invest in Rick and Morty Season 1 now on DVD and Blu-ray.

Monday, Dec. 1st marks the return of one of the most awesomely bizarre shows on TV, The Heart, She Holler.
Adult Swim renewed the series for a third season earlier this year and announced that Scott Adsit is joining the cast.

Adult Swim has set Oct. 23rd as the premiere date for season 2 of Newsreaders and not only has Alison Becker, Beth Dover, Dannah Phirman, and Ray Wise back, but Alan Tudyk as the new host.
They’ve also racked up quite the guest star list. Scott Adsit, Malin Akerman, Billy Ray Cyrus, Jenna Fischer, Rob Huebel, Tom Lennon, Randall Park, Danny Pudi, Rob Riggle, Martin Starr, James Urbaniak, along with David Hasselhoff will all be going through the news, sort of, with the Newsreaders team.

While there’s certainly ways to watch episodes of Adult Swim’s Rick and Morty legally online, it’s hard to not want to get the DVD box set of one of the best shows on TV despite it not getting thrown into the same sentences as everyone’s favorite one hour dramas on cable and online streaming providers.
So, with that in mind, keep Oct. 7th in mind, the day that season one of Rick and Morty comes out on DVD. Series co-creator Justin Roiland will even pick someone at random to win a copy if you RT this tweet.

If you were looking for another reason to love the fantastic Rick & Morty on Adult Swim, we’ve got one. The animators behind Rick & Morty just recently unionized on their own through the Animation Guild. This is important considering many of Adult Swim’s cartoons surprisingly aren’t unionized.
The crew will now get a standard hourly wage, health coverage, pensions, etc. This undoubtedly will lead to a more productive team at Rick & Morty and one hell of a second season.

On Sept. 21st, Adult Swim will premiere a brand new animated series Mr. Pickles from Will Carsola and Dave Stewart that, in fitting with Adult Swim’s branding, follows a secretly evil border collie named Mr. Pickles.
There isn’t a trailer yet, but the voices of Jay Johnston from Mr. Show, Frank Collison, Kaitlyn Robrock, along with Will Carsola and Dave Stewart make for a solid cast.
Along with Mike Tyson Mysteries also set for a series premiere in a few months, this should be quite the fall for animated series at Adult Swim.
Another nice reveal from Comic Con this past weekend came in the form of a trailer for Adult Swim’s latest cartoon, Mike Tyson Mysteries with the actual voice of Mike Tyson.
There’s a lot to chew on here including its style as one of those classic 70s cartoons to a ghost being one of Tyson’s sidekicks as well as Norm MacDonald voicing a pigeon. That’s right; all of you what just read is absolutely true.
Paul Scheer Is Putting NTSF:SD:SUV on Hold; Developing Other Projects at Adult Swim and HBO
Paul Scheer is as busy as he’s ever been. With being on plenty of shows, appearing on so many web videos, now getting into comic books, and still performing live, Scheer has a lot on his plate. Opting to not force another season of NTSF:SD:SUV out when he doesn’t feel inspired enough, he’s going to other projects that are in development.
One of them is at Adult Swim and is a G.I. Joe like cartoon that depicts Cobra nowadays. The HBO project is supposedly “True Detective-esque”.
While NTSF:SD:SUV is on hold, these two new developments already have us hooked.
Seth Green and Matthew Senreich Set Cast for ‘Team Unicorn’ Pilot at Adult Swim
Seth Green and Matthew Senreich, the minds behind Robot Chicken, are setting for a live-action/cartoon hybrid pilot in Team Unicorn over at Adult Swim.
Clare Grant, Rileah Vanderbilt, Jane Lynch, Alan Tudyk, Alison Haislip, Milynn Sarley, Tara Strong, and Kevin Shinick have been all cast for an adult version of a Saturday morning cartoon following the adventures of heroines in disguise, Team Unicorn.
The Heart, She Holler Renewed and Scott Adsit Joining the Cast
One of Adult Swim’s most delightfully bizarre shows, The Heart, She Holler from Vernon Chatman is coming back for a third season, which could mean that the cast could do more late night appearances where they show America the behind the weirdness such as how to make edible litter.
Also, Scott Adsit has just been announced as a series regular as a new sheriff in town. It’s quite a jump to go from 30 Rock to The Heart, She Holler, but we’re excited for this all the same.
If you guys remember when Jack McBrayer and Triumph the Insult Comic Dog visited the infamous Weiner Circle in Chicago, you’ll know a series where the two play unlikely buddies should be pretty great.
In fact, it’s so great that Adult Swim broke their 15 min. mold and is making this a full-fledged half hour series.
Adult Swim Orders ‘Neon Joe Werewolf Hunter’ Pilot From Jon Glaser
Never will have werewolf hunting look so awesome as when Jon Glaser will don neon and Coors Silver Bullet sweatpants to be Neon Joe Werewolf Hunter.
Neon Joe is one of many Glaser’s unforgettable characters that you might have seen on Conan a couple of years ago and you’ll hopefully see on TV if Adult Swim orders this to series.
Adult Swim Greenlights Live-Action/Rotoscope Comedy Pilot From John Krasinski
Not only are we excited to hear that John Krasinski will be producing a comedy pilot for Adult Swim entitled Dream Corp LLC, but the idea itself sounds pretty amazing. Just from the description, there seems to be elements of Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Inception, and Rick and Morty that will all be put through the Adult Swim blender for this pilot.
Thus, Dream Corp LLC is yet another pilot this season we hope gets picked up just so we can all see what they came up with.
Adult Swim Renews “Children’s Hospital” For Sixth Season
Considering how damn funny Children’s Hospital is and the fact that it’s one of Adult Swim’s only shows to win an Emmy, we’re glad to see that they are very deservedly getting a sixth season.
Hopefully, they’ll hit syndication very soon.

Brett Gelman Has a New Adult Swim Special Premiering April 24th
Adult Swim is getting into more TV specials, this time with Brett Gelman. Dinner with Friends with Brett Gelman and Friends will have, as you might imagine if you know or have seen Gelman live, Gelman have an atypical evening with his friends. We can only hope that he makes them all wear slightly disturbing masks at one point.
Dinner with Friend with Brett Gelman and Friends premieres midnight on Adult Swim Apr. 24th.
At 10PM tonight, Comedy Central will be airing Patton Oswalt’s latest comedy special, which, by the way, is fantastic, Tragedy Plus Comedy Equals Time and HBO will be premiering their highly anticipated series from Mike Judge, Silicon Valley followed by the season premiere of Veep at 10:30PM.
Whether through DVR or some amazing feat of mental concentration, we urge you to watch both. After that, you can catch Robot Chicken’s DC Comics Special II: Villains in Paradise at 11:30PM on Adult Swim.
Adult Swim’s ‘Your Pretty Face Is Going To Hell’ Renewed For Second Season
As far as networks establishing their comedy brand, Adult Swim has done a really great job cementing their brand of great, high concept, absurdist comedy series.
Your Pretty Face Is Going To Hell getting a second is a perfect example of this.
Amidst get drunk/not pinched if you weren’t wearing green, Adult Swim released a fun little short as a nod to St. Patrick’s Day, in the most tangential, Adult Swim way of course.
It’s called An Buachaill Cé a Ith dá Athair and the “production companies” alone behind it are pretty great. Watch it here.
Rick and Morty’s First Episode of Season Two on Instagram
Not unlike It’s a Disaster being released on Vine, Adult Swim’s awesome animated series Rick and Morty just uploaded it’s whole first episode in snippets on Instagram.
