In the late night talk show showdown where talk shows are really booking something big in order to compete with Leno’s last week at The Tonight Show, perhaps what will be one of the most interesting and funniest interviews is Stephen Colbert interviewing members of the punk group Pussy Riot on The Colbert Report.
First off, there’s a translator adding a whole new element of comedic timing to the interview as well as the two members of Pussy Riot being pretty great in the interview. Also, Colbert clearly takes interest towards the end of Pussy Riot’s aims and invitation for Putin to put them back into jail over maintaining the Colbert character.

The Tony Award winning, record grossing one man show from Billy Crystal, 700 Sundays, is coming to HBO on Sat. Apr. 19th. You might be interested to know that this will be almost 30 years since Crystal’s last special on HBO.
In many of his interviews throughout the years, Eric Andre has taken conversations wonderfully off the rails and often times disrobed for comedic effect.
In this latest interview on Paul F. Tompkins’ Speakeasy, you can see a more calm Eric and hear about him studying the upright bass as well as not trying to have the cameras turn off if someone is going to punch him in the face.

It’s now available and you should pick it up in hardcover and/or in audiobook, which, if you’ve heard this story of Novak’s prank at a museum as a kid, should be more enticing.
YouTube To Crack Down on Bogus Video Views
Supposedly, this will only affect a relatively minimal amount of videos on YouTube, but the result has yet to be seen, though it would be hard to see why comedy sketches and web videos would get docked views.
Perhaps, everyone who did a Harlem Shake video will get a few thousand views taken off?

Scottish comedian Daniel Sloss returns, and only after exactly 2 months since his last set, to Conan for, as said above, another great set. His born gay vs. as a choice joke is particularly great.
One of the best bits in late night retains its title as Jimmy Kimmel invited the entire cast of Monuments Men, George Clooney, Cate Blanchett, John Goodman, Bill Murray, and Bob Balaban on to Jimmy Kimmel Live and they all decided to screw with the other cast member/Kimmel nemesis Matt Damon.
