OK, That’s A Pretty Great, But F’d Up Heckle Story
YouTube just starting rolling out a whole boatload of original programming through their Official Comedy channel. There are several web series that both are comedy and then take a look at it, of which one of the most interesting ones thus far is Behind The Heckle. Self-explanatory from the title, comedians tell their heckling stories, but seemingly without the begging for sympathy that ran through the documentary Heckler (i.e. Seth Herzog performed in front of the birthday party of a dead girl and tried to make jokes about it).

We’re pretty sure that the development of the story for 40 Year Old Virgin had no mention of Steve Carell wearing an iron lung the whole movie. The Sessions, however, written and directed by Ben Lewin, is based on a true story of a 38 year old virgin confined to an iron lung set on having sex for the first time. John Hawkes is starring with Helen Hunt and William H. Macy in what might be a great dark romantic comedy this fall.
